Power steering and disc brake Questions

I have purchased several disc brake setups for Ray (just ordered three more sets in fact) and have found him a great person to work with. Great product, wonderful support, etc. He's only planning on being in the US for a few months before he heads back to Thailand (his wife is from there and...

GOER on it's way to a new home!!

Great to hear that the new truck (the dump) is in such good working condition... I won't have to hide my M817 when you come to visit... :) Also good to see the GOER headed to a new home, sad to see it leave your yard, but good to see it going to a place where a bunch of folks will be able to...

    East Coast Convoy 2008

We'll be running the same commo setup as last year... Same frequencies, etc. for the PRC25/77 and similar... Phone numbers, frequency list, and channels (CB, walkie-talkie) will be sent out to participants the weekend before the Convoy.

    East Coast Convoy 2008

Bob, Shot you a reply email... Love to have your gang join us again this year, both in the convoy and the eats on Friday (looks like we will be convoying offsite to a local park, so you get some windshield time as well... ). We're going to do the shirt deal again... :)

    East Coast Convoy 2008

No, I'd say that the person doing the website (who I agree could just change the image for the shirt, update the dates, etc. and let it rip...) has to keep his boss happy and thus has problems devoting the time to doing the updates although he thought that he did... As far as effort in planning...

    East Coast Convoy 2008

We have the same routes/meeting locations and schedules as last year. Got a shirt design and just got prices on them from the shirt folks this week. Still talking to the folks at Aberdeen about Friday food (they have a long list of issues with us having the party on site, and with us...

    Source for 6-volt bulbs?

A couple of places that I use for mail order of bulbs are: http://www.bayareaamusements.com/ http://www.1000bulbs.com/ Both have large supplies of bulbs for industrial/commercial use including automotive ones... Search around on the sites as I know that they have 12/24/36volt stuff and kinda...

    m35 Headlight part #

I'd use this as an excuse to swap to Hella H4 lighting and really improve the amount of light that you are putting out... Otherwise, just order a pair of bulbs from one of the dealers that specializes in MV's such as Saturn Surplus or ODIron (to name two) as you'll most likely get a better...

    Deuce tanker question

I've sent a PM about this as I've got a buddy who wants a tanker, and I've got a very nice M35A2 sitting in the yard that is available... KY isn't that far away from NC... :)

    M101 Trailer Variant - Questions......

We've covered this before (so do some searches and see if you can find a more concise set of answers...)... But, off the top of my head: M101: Five lug rims (Budd, 6.50Hx16, same as on the M37 familly of 3/4 ton trucks), 900x16 tires, brake handles have the "squeeze" trigger release and are...

M51 dump gasser for sale in VA - $1000

So, I'm up at the farm in Virginia this weekend, spent some time wrenching on a MEP-005A generator (it's now purring like a kitten and making power...) and didn't get a chance to look at the new truck until today... The truck is actually a five ton gasser cargo that has been converted to a...

    SF97-FEDEX

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: SF97-FEDEX I've given up keeping track of how long it has been on some of the SF97's I'm waiting for... :( I just sit and look at the trucks sitting in my yard that have folks who have made deposits on them, that I can't deliver until I can get them titled... The...

    SF97-FEDEX

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: SF97-FEDEX In North Carolina, you pay a $15 fine for "Failure to Transfer Title Within 28 Days". This fine is applied based on the date of the sale, so I'm getting hit with it every time... The fact that I can't touch a vehicle until after an EUC clears, not to...

Hay how do I get my truck to work with

There are several folks that I know of (including Bryan Sage who is on this site) who have taken a ten lug rim and reworked it (redrilling alternate lug holes-have to shift the bolt circle in addition to changing the diameter and such) so that they fit on a M37. Folks who have done this like...
