    Back in the club!

The truck looks great and I know will be fine. I have been very lucky with mine as all have been good. The only bad experience I have had was an Air Force S-10 Chevy I bought and when I got it home the Motor was locked. But with me doing my own rebuild the truck is still worth what I have in it.

What I did win today in GL3175

My biggest problem was the picture of my drivers license not being clear. I finally had a friend scan it and send it to me by e-mail. He also enlarged it so it was easier to read and I e-mailed it to them and it worked.

    Opinions wanted...

I don't ever ever line mine up because I have to run my hand through the outside hole to remove the cap on the inside one. I have big hands and need all the room I can get.

    m818 battery and heater question

I use two of the large batterys with the stainless steel threaded post in mine. They were put in when I picked up the truck I think three years ago. Interstate Blems at $35.00 apiece. Thats all I use here on the farm. Some don't last that long but for $35.00 each I can change a few out...

    Painting/Priming WITHOUT prior sandblasting???

I love the rust convertor and have used it for years. Wire brush the scale and loose stuff and apply a good application of rust convertor. It is a great primer and can be painted right over. If you want a smooth finish spray it on. I just did an antique tractor with a brush and you could see...

Recommendations for a good epoxy primer? tips?

RE: Good undercoat The sheet metal was sand-blasted. It still looked rust free but when I sprayed the rust converter the metal turned completly black. It only turns black if rust is present. You have to wash it before you paint over because it will not re-act if rust is not present. This...
