Typical GL stuff. I just got one EUC approved after several revisions. Took them six weeks. Sent in another Oct.1 and never received confirmation of receit. E-mailed the Lady I had delt with and she said she was not handling that sale but had forwarded my info to the person that was. I...
I think it looks great but as someone has said with it that high you have a great leverage effect. Theres nothing you can do about the receiver, but if it were mine I would use the space under the bumper to weld some braces on each side on a 45 angle to where it would just clear the bumper...
RE: tractors
This was covered in two-cylinder magazine 10 or 12 years ago. I wish i could find that tractor. John Deere also built field washing machines for laundery service, produced components for Sherman tanks, I think had some dealings with Liberty ships as one was named for them, and...
Maddog, I found some on-line searching for rubber rope. What i got was a little bigger diameter and I had to use a drill bit to inlarge the round holes that tied it off. It fit the places in between the ends where it tied off. Had to buy a 100 foot roll but it did not cost much.
RE: yards
Wayne, the welding trailer is used on the yard and not for sale. I think the second place you have in mind has been closed for guite a number of years. If my memory is correct he was the sheriff of Bryan County and served time for receiving stolen trucks. The M211's or 135's, I...
My starter man told me he could build me one if I ever needed. A lot of heavy truck starters have the same bolt pattern, the only difference is which way the head is turned for the solinoid placement. Also I understand these motors will fit in a lot of White tractors as White build a lot of...
Tim, glad you made it home safe and that you enjoyed the peanuts. Hows the Wife's back??? Hope she's doing OK. Really enjoyed meeting you and Thanks for the chain.
Anyway you can claim to be a farmer and this is a farm truck?? In Ga I don't have DOT numbers for my two Semi's, am exempt from roadtax because I drive each less than 7500 miles a year, and don't have to have a CDL as long as I haul only my on stuff.
Yes we made it home Sunday night at 8:00PM with no problems at all. The truck ran great there and back and I think got better fuel mileage coming home, but then its downhill all the way.
pictures
Here are a few tonight. This is waiting for the charcoal to get right to cook lunch on Sat.
My computer is being difficult so I will try more later.
I have lots of great pictures that I will get up soon. One question first, some of my pictures show the kids having a great time at the playground and in the trucks. From my tractor club experience I know some parents don't want pics of their kids on the internet. Alpharomeo, I am sure some...
The truck is packed and we are finishing up minor details. Heading out at 7:00 in the morning. Plan on doing some sight seeing with the wives Friday but will find you guys. Travel safe!!!
