I have no problem with the name. I am sure when Sarge went to New Oleans many people thought he was their Savior. The Lord works in misterious ways and I feel sure he does not object to OD green.
No Kenny, I just was not thinking as I have looked at several 416's on e-bay for the Mutt. Shows you should aslways put the brain in gear before you shift the mouth into talk.
That NAPA price seems way to high. If you want I will check with my store to see what their price is. I just bought one last week from my heavy truck supplier and it was $24.00 and made by GE. His catolog looked just like the one my NAPA dealer showed me three weks ago.
5.0fox, welcome also. Windsheilds have been discussed a lot in the last couple of days so do a search and you will find all you need to know. I think all the manuals are available here on site so check that out. If you want hard copies keep check on e-bay as I got all mine there. Some...

Those bronze puck clutches have more holding power than a regular clutch. We used them in our farm tractors for a while until we learned it was more expensive to resurface and replace flywheels than to replace the regular clutches. These will eat them up much faster than a regular clutch...
I agree with David Doyle also. Its Chris's site and he can do as he pleases. Here at my farm I tell people if you are not happy with what I do and the way I do it you can leave. As far as GL, I had found them before I knew about SS. I check all the sales in the surrounding states each week...
The truck looks fine to me. If he stands behind his warrenty then that is a plus above GL Of course if you could check the truck out yourself that would be best.
I have done antique tractor tanks with Kreem and it works well. Motorcycle shops sell it but are pricey. It can be ordered on line from a place called The Shop I think.
Is there any oil leaking out of the bell vent?? Sounds like maybe a rear main leak. The pucks hold better and maybe after a few minutes running fresh oil on the flywheel is causing the slipping. Something is causing it to let go after a few minutes and a weak pressure plate or bad clutch...
The 6.2 is a diesel, right. If so i have never heard of running one one propane. I have a Chevy s-10 I bought from GL with a propane kit. The engine was locked and had to be rebuilt. Some pieces were missing from the propane kit and I don't have it running yet. From what I have heard...
