I am providing a box of knife/fork/napkin/salt/pepper combinations that you get at Sams. I'll also have a supply of paper plates, napkins, and cups.
We will be eating BBQ, green beans, potatoes, and rolls, Tea/water.
I'll have my cooler with some drinks, but you should plan on bringing...
Looking at the photos they reminded me of the shots that GL takes when they put them up (something about the selection, angles, tags on the windows, trucks beside and behind...you get the idea).
Then, I see in the auction description: "WON IN AUCTION"
Think that he overshot on his bidding, or...
Gasser is working on adding the routes and arrival times to the website. He's been waiting to do this as the routes have been pretty fluid (the guys from out west who are doing the Convoy for the first time have made a bunch of shifts, but those of us from the South spent some time discussing...
If glass, you can use Softscrub or Crest (yes, toothpaste). I've done it more times than I care to admit. Works much better if you have a very soft pad on a buffing pad on your drill or DA sander... Buffing out scratches by hand is a major time commitment...
If you don't want to do it...
You are most likely thinking about www.uship.com sorta like Ebay in that you register, post the items to be shipped, select the bid that you like (don't have to go with the lowest...), and can post feedback on the deal.
You may also want to check out www.yesterdaystractors.com since they have...
Geez... I haven't seen her in years either...
I'm seriously thinking about it. It depends in large part on how sore my butt is from all the driving the week before.
Talked to my t-shirt lady today. She is printing the shirts now and I will be mailing them out (to those who asked for them to be mailed to them) on May 2. Should be just enought time to get them to folks before they head out for Aberdeen.
The rest of the shirts will be available for...
I agree with ACE about checkin the wiring first, but if you do decide that you need a new, old style, brake light switch, Saturn Surplus has (had) them last time I checked... They had both the old and new style in stock for about the same money.
Good luck.
One other tidbit (from the Spicer catalog/instruction manual) is to align all your zerks such that you can grease every one without have to rotate shafts/move the vehicle... One of the driveshafts on my M35A2C has one zerk that is rotated a hundred and eighty degrees from all the other ones...
Re: RE: brake lock on wrecker
Mico lists all thier line locks in both 12 and 24 volt versions... They all work on the "hit the brake" then push button, flip lever, rotate handle (depending on version) principal. "Newer" electically operated versions have the ablity to release pressure when...
Unless I'm traveling with a group (say the East Coast Convoy) I don't wear muffs or a headset either. I only wear the headset so that I can hear the radio... For most of my driving, I use a set of ear plugs and leave the headset dangling from the bungee.
Bungees, zipties, and duct tape are...
My M37 has horizontal exhaust (they all do unless they have a fording pipe installed). It dumps out on the passenger side just behind the cab (under the front of the bed). In my case, the M37 has a Cummins 4BT and on start up, I can fog the car next to me at the grocery pretty bad if I...
I use a very short bungee cord slipped through a one of my roof support tabs on my M37 (has hartop)... It is one with the plastic coated hooks and is only four inches or so long... The bungee in the duece hangs from the passenger front winshield arm where I can still snag it from the driver's...
I have a Mico Lock on the shelf that came out of a large International... I'll bring it with me to Aberdeen...
Mico still makes them (do a Google for the company) and supports the older setups (I have the contact info for thier tech guy who knows how to work the cross references between the...
Yeah, for me, perhaps a cleat or two to match my toolbox or mermite, or ammo can... More likely, some footman loops so that I can attach some straps and have greater flexibility on what I store since different trips need different stuff...
Looking really good there.... I'll cross my fingers for your making that Memorial Day debut, but it looks like you've got everything on schedule... :)
I got in a pair of door frames and skins for mine from John last week along with some small parts, and everything looked wonderful as...
If they are the bulbs that I am thinking of, they have the three metal tabs on the back of the bulb that match up perfectly to the plugs sold at auto parts stores... Just pick up a couple of plugs with pigtails and make up a wiring adapter for you new bulbs. Nice thing is that the same plug...
