I took lots of pictures of the trucks in the scrap yard close to me. There may be some stuff some of you need here.

Are these spades on this much newer wrecker the same as the ones on my M543???

I may can get that cover for you from a scrap yard if you still need it. They have several dead winchs that are complete.

If the petal has no free play then the release bearing is running all the time. The bearing could be vibrating at certain RPMs but i don't know why it does'nt do it in every gear. If the bearing is running all the time it won't ;ast long.
