    Wiring - M1088A1

That might be fairly easy. You could use the de-energized contacts of the neutral relay to complete the low air alarm circuit...

    Wiring - M1088A1

There are wire numbers, and those wire numbers run between connector pins and/or terminal lug numbers. TL or Connector numbers are on metal bands on the wire ends, wire numbers are printed on the wires themselvs. The drawing is typically broken down by specific areas on the truck. Sometimes you...

    Wiring - M1088A1

This should be your schematic for an early version A1, available here on sS https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/fmtva1-electrical-schematics.158229/

The cool thing about most mil manuals is that in the cautions before the procedure instructions they often list the component weights for the parts you will be working on... The 3060 troubleshooting manual(includes 3070pt trans) shows the N solenoid being wired between pins H2 & H3 on the trans...

Depending on your truck, and what you are working on it may be the same. The A1 schematics are available. What is the year and serial number of your truck?

    Wiring - M1088A1

You say its an A1 truck. The first drawing is a wtec2 harness found in the A0 trucks. You have a WTEC3 in an A1 truck. The second page is also info on an A0. Now the early A1s are similar to the A0 in many aspects, the documentation you are showing may or may not apply. I cannot get to my...

2 full turns Out from contact. You can turn it in from there 1/4 turn trying to to get a useable signal(chapter 7 in the tech manual). I would pull that one out and make sure it isn’t covered with metal shavings, then check proper install. on the ohm check for the sensor the resistance needs...

Shift controller on WTEC3 showing -\-

On the A1 24V battery power is fed to the WTEC III controller by CB43 On the A0 12V battery power is fed to the VIM and WTEC II TCU via CB35. On both models CB79 provides the 24V switched ignition power. What year is this truck?

Yea I would identify the N solenoide wire pair in the transmission harness connector and confirm the short is in the transmisdion before I commitred to pulling the control module.

    Its in the operators manual:)

Ign is still cb79, but Iam not recalling where batt power to the trans controller feeds from on the A1.

    M1079 only moves in reverse

Needs to be below 750 RPM to shift, had not heard about a difference between D & R, but cool.

98 is probably an A0 with a 3116 engine, the hand throttle makes it an A0...

M1078 Tranny code d14526 no speedo

All the solenoids are in the control module bolted up into the bottom of the transmisdion where the filters are located... This as suggested could be bad wiring at the locations mentioned. For engine issues you need to be specific on year/model of truck. The A0 and A1 have radically different...
