The rope is tucked away and will never be used. I tried it with the rope once........ Never again. Had to be some sort of engineers joke on the troops.

Painted on the beginning Hobbs time when I purchased it I always do this on equipment so I don’t have to look it up or guess. The battery covers came in so those were Installed today. I kept the one big flap cover. Didn’t want to toss it and it’s not in the way of anything. I washed them...

Trying to find a trailer now. A trailer setup might be a better fit for the ranch. Will be easier to wire something so I can plug into my panel. Plan is to get one of your covers so I don't have to worry about spiders and wasps..... and weather. I only use the Solargizer/PulseTech chargers. The...

What did you do to your trailer today.

What did you do to your trailer today.

The trailer has been extremely useful. The load rating is well over 2000lbs. It’s a bit overkill for what I do with it. Perfect fit for the little ford tractor

Do the guys who use these generators for standby power leave them out in the weather 24/7 or build an enclosure for them? I know their built for staying outside but that definitely takes a toll on them over time. I was thinking of doing a little Tuff-Shed

What did you do to your trailer today.

USAF Flight Line Oxygen Cylinder Trailer I installed the wood almost two years ago. Yesterday morning I soaked the wood with new ATF oil and then let it sit in sun all day. It really soaked it up! Now the wood will not rot away. It will be at least a year or more before it needs another coat...

    MEP-803A —— Did I Score? I think so……

Ran generator for almost an hour seeing if any leaks from radiator cap and fuel filters. Wanted it nice and hot. All good. Topped off fuel tank and placed generator back inside my cargo trailer to keep out of the weather for now. The battery terminal covers are the only thing I'm waiting on...

Be careful on the fuel pump fittings. If memory serves me right the 803 uses 1/4" JIC fittings on the fuel pump lines. The 003 is 5/16 on most of the fittings, but 802 and 803 are 1/4" or -4AN if I recall. Ah Ok I was going off some old threads. Will go back and read some more. Thanks

New belt installed and a spare. The Dayton belt that was on it was just fine. Will also be a spare. This machine was well cared for. 24v Carter fuel pump. I know it requires some 5/16 JIC fittings to work like original. Getting close to the finish line.

Spent the morning flushing out the cooling system. The vinegar worked like a champ cleaning the hard water deposits out of radiator. Finally got all the crud and vinegar flushed out. She's now has fresh 50/50 antifreeze. Radiator cap hasn't leaked since cleaning the hard water deposits off...

I have NOCO chargers (5amp) on several vehicles that I don't drive often. NOCO 2 amp on the lawn mowers. Also have the NOCO 2X 5 amp hard wired on my CUCV. Works very well

Thought about that and did that with my 5 tons. I was thinking about using a 12w panel for both battery's or I could use two 5w ones (which I already have). The wiring is a challenge to make look good with two solar chargers. Where this thing will be sitting, I have access to grid power. I...

    MEP-803A —— Did I Score? I think so……

I took radiator cap off this evening and think i found out why it wasn't sealing. There is a decent amount of hard water deposits, a layer, that was on the neck rim, inside the neck and on the cap itself. I soaked the cap in vinegar and that solved that issue. Took a brass brush and removed the...

I still have a few things to do before I’m “Done”. Drain and replace coolant Find a radiator cap that will work. Install new fan belt. Install newly purchased used and working AUX fuel pump Once that’s installed and verified to work, I can put the tank cover back on. WASH Generator. It’s...
