If the valves are off, I would take the hoses off and flush the heater out so the water does not go into the motor.
When I got one of my trucks the heater valves were off, when I opened them I found a leak in the heater core and all kind of crap came out of it.
I get my o-ring from a place here in Phoenix and they are around $5ea.
On the 5 ton wheels you need to know if they have 5/8" bolt or 3/4" wheel bolts. The 5/8" wheels take a 3/8" o-ring and the 3/4" wheels take a 1/4" o-ring.
I have one if you need one or if need many I can get them for you.
I used a Curt 15530 it has a 16k load and a 2' receiver, the curt 15605 is a 18k and has 2.5" receiver. When the receiver is in it the pintle is turned a little, but with it removed the pintle works fine.
It cost around $175...
Ditto, On the hoses, but all the way clockwise is the drivers side tank and counter clockwise is the passenger side.
There should be a data plate on the floor that is marked the tanks.
