    Problem starting with M923A1 knowledge

Should not be any harder than a deuce or a civi vehicle if everything is as it should be, 75% of the time, it is the batteries, starter, or AIR in the system, the rest is filters, black box, or other misc. crap

You buy the Cummins one, you pay $55, I paid about $20 for mine, any big truck parts house has them, the one I brought is a BEPCO p/n 6997324, 24v fuel solenoid

    lack of motivation

Will not be the FIRST time I have seen a NEW or NOS part be BAD, if can be built, it can be bad NEW, most time just a exchange takes place and things are good to go, If cars can be shipped from the factory with NO MOTOR oil, why not could a new ip be bad, and a used one is a little better then...

    more speed?

FEW more things about a higher speed to think about 1---speed rating on the tires 2---heat buildup in the tires, hubs ( grease hubs hold the heat) 3---how YOU will feel when you hurt/kill someone because of making this decision 4---how YOU will feel when someone you LOVE/is CLOSE is hurt/killed...

    more speed?

The FIRST thing I would do is MAKE SURE my FUEL FILTERS are CLEAN (close to NEW, if not NEW), any good running and well maintained deuce without being tricked should run 50 or a bit more, heck when I drove Jims LOADED deuce to Wi, it did 50+ except STEEP grades, it was not turned up and on 900s...

    Bone headed Winch move

If one or both shackles are DEFORMED, you might as well just cut then as a deformed shackle should NOT be reused

    freewheel axle flanges

I found the write up back in 97/98 in a MVmag, thay talked about a mwo but for some reason it was a unit by unit implementation
  16. 73m819

    freewheel axle flanges

I would because the 5t hub ONLY has ONE bushing and that is at the knuckle end of the hub, the outer shaft is heavy so that would be a lot of weight bouncing around. AS far as the bushing goes, I would have a hardened metal insert made instead of bronze, on the out side of the end, I would drill...

    freewheel axle flanges

That is what the MWO calls for
  18. 73m819

    freewheel axle flanges

The only this would work on a 54/809 5t is to install the MWO thats cuts the air to the trans shift valves and the sprag shift, there by putting the sprag in neutral

    Bone headed Winch move

DO as DAVE said, now think what would have happened with a BOLT installed instead of a SHEAR PIN

JWALLER, then the SECOND time almost ran over BFR when I realized what the PROBLEM was and turned the air on and suddenly had traction when throttle was applied as he was backing up
