4-15-13 last date worked on - what in the world is going on as I did not have CAMO permission to cease work. Now that I am done totally screwing off its time tomorrow night to get back on target.
I have a couple heavy tool boxes to move and play with first (thank you to you know who for those)...
Ole timers like us used Boiled Linseed Oil - only one holdback. It spontaneously combusts with a lack of oxygen. Meaning after you put it on with a rag and toss that rag in a corner with hardly any ventilation it will self combust.
Chris - here is a cool little site for references - hope this helps in identification for you:

Take a little bit lighter photo's- little dark to pin point details.
From just looking at it I sure would not offer much as you have lots of labor to do - and trust me it can be done.
If your only looking for a basis jeep of any sort without much detail to keep the costs down.
Mechanical #1...
Check this product out: http://www.keypolymer.com/transportation-products/original/
We use this all the time on semi trailer flooring to keep water intrusion out from the underside. Forklifts can run on it without damaging it. They slide pallets on it continually without fail. It is a Part A...
Da big question to ask - Do you have a title.
I did not see any sign on the tailgate of a former license plate. The multi postion bar on the back looks like it spent some time doing farm work at one time.
That jeepie looks like your getting ready for battle and looking sweet - your going to have a blast in it. Your lucky yours does not belong to your wife.
Ditto TWM - many colors and shades of OD when you search and look up sites that try to duplicate these colors.
TWM is what I call farther than restoring a vehicle - he has it better than the truck ever rolled off the assembly line for battle.
His indeed is going to be a showpiece when its...
Trying to make those new dash data plates that PB bought worthy of riviting them on. Some of the later pics are the drying out of the reducer and seeing the true color an depth.
Some knucklehead I will not mention put a pencil eraser size paint run just under the glove box - easy to get it out...
Last night I had to stay at the Holiday Inn - I wanted to do something that would make me smart. Or learn how to BBQ a 200 pound pig here in a couple weeks.
I know a Marine that used that word once - that was when I handed him over his Jeep when I was done with it finally. I understand that word perfectly. I bet your ready to see tomorrow nights pictures EY
Wanted to get the body work done and out of the way (minus the box) Hood is looking LUCIOUS and frickin awesome. The whole front end of the WC is what makes it stand out and hopefully I can uphold the quality in the end.
Now where did them cab mounting bolts and springs go to ???????
Lloyd - I really like that color. From the pics it looks like a very nice Satin color tint. Those epoxies harden up after a couple days - if their in the sun it takes about a day.
I know I get hammered on about what I get done in a short period of time - but that's just how I work. I have no...
Those are sweet - I was going to ask what we were going to do with them blank area's on the dash and side of the box. Those will go right along with YOUR TWO brand spanking new WC 22 Manuals.
Parts Manual and Maintenance Manual I have.
