Foldout 21 of 34 in the A0 schematics(vehicle interface module) found in the back of the tech manuals. You are looking at the contacts of relay SF02 in the VIM which go to pine E2-E3 and on to the PTO/winch controls...
from page 1-33 of the operators manual:
“(5) The transmission may include an...
Looks like the A0 is wired to lockout transmission when operating PTO, so no power tot he wheels when winching. Seems to me I read something similar in the operators manual...
Be sure and chock the wheels! Applying shop air to the emergency port to pre-charge the system, also applies park air/releases the park brake:) With fluid in it, 300’ shouldn't be a problem...
Air intrusion is easy enough to look for. disconnect the return line at the tank and connect it to a clear hose and run it into the filler pipe. Then you can see any air.
Does your primer bulb get firm at all?
I did this video up A while back and just uploaded it to youtube last week. I...
I just wrapped a flex tape around the metal tube(aluminum) and got 4” OD. The flex line that goes from the air-cleaner reducer/adapter slides over a stub metal pipe protruding from the reducer that is the same diameter as the metal pipe running to the turbo U-elbow.
Coachgeo, I just crawled around my 1079A0 and I don't see any grounds associated with the bridge... The closest I get is the neg battery lead goes from battery box to the shunt and the other side of the shunt goes to the starter neg terminal. The shunt is purposefully isolated from ground...
Yea, I have only seen the LMTV mounts in pictures. Looking at the Pic that Grobster put up, it may fit without modification... Since they share comms packages across different platforms it would make sense to have had similar antenna bases specced for as many antennas as possible.
For Victor a 4265A would be appropriate, made by Shakespear. Surprisingly enough, the USCG actually put these on smallboats and patrol boats for a number of years. They did pretty well considering they were never designed for a marine environment...
Yea, thats the one in the transfer case. I believe it is where vehicle speed is derived. I believe all the other sensors in the trans are used strictly for trans control...
OK, sounds like you are all over it:) Either you are severely HP limited as Coachgeo alluded to, or your governor is limiting your peak engine RPM. You need to tach the engine. Some digital voltmeters will read frequency. With one of these you could read the engine RPM sensor output either at...
Superman where exactly is the sensor on the bottom of the trans? Got a P/N? Allison was a little confusing in their labeling of sensors in the trans. They called them speed sensors when it would have been more appropriate IMO to call them RPM sensors. in the trans would be a goofey place to...
You need engine running and wet tank full to activate the pressure switch on the wet tank so CTIS can start its thing. A CTIS inflate command will drain the wet tank down to the 85 PSI protection valve close point in 3-4 seconds... those tires take some volume...
For quiet, you can connect shop...
The CTIS controller provides the overspeed light voltage directly to the panel light, so if the light is on it is the CTIS controller causing it.
Is your speedometer working/accurate? The CTIS controller shares the speed input from the transmission controller with the speedometer. Below a...
Yep, under dash. You should be able to swap gauge signal lines between sensors to determine wether it is a gauge issue or a sensor issue. Since they vary resistance of a pathway to ground, make sure the connections from the sensor to ground are good. A bad ground could cause a gauge to read...
So did the solenoid go clunk when you jumped it? Did you get fuel all the way thru the system like I described back in post #33? If so, it should have started if the lift pump in the governor is pumping fuel while cranking. You can see this with that plug on top of the secondary filter loosened...
