    New M101A2

Definitely not stock. Has the axle been replaced also? Too bad. The surge brake system works great when properly maintained. Edit. Looks like a Bulldog or similar jack with snap ring mount will work. A good trailer or farm store will have some to match up.

    M1010 charging issues

OP your location says JOMO. Is that short for Joplin, Missouri? Need to list a state for your location

    M1009 lacks power

Those items when fixed should definitely make a difference. I still recommend using a fuel system cleaner like SeaFoam. Will keep your entire fuel system happy.

Did the supply of M101A2s and 3s dry up??

I would like at least one more. Someday. Best overall trailer the Military ever fielded, IMHO.

    Mobile locksmith shop, shelter conversion

Looks like the tailgate will close just fine if it were reinstalled. Any plans to do that? I see the license plate attached to shelter so I assume not. The setup looks really good. Very well thought out.

    M1009 lacks power

Elevation isn’t the only factor. Density Altitude makes a huge difference on how a vehicle (or aircraft) performs. You can have an elevation of 8000 feet and a density altitude of 9700 feet. It varies up or down depending on temperature at that 8000,(or whatever) elevation. The colder it is...

    M1009 lacks power

Keep lugging it up the hills like that and it will break. No turbo needed. Have you used any fuel system cleaner? Seafoam, etc? They will make a difference in a dirty system. Agree with the other recommendations. The 6.2L isn’t remotely a powerhouse to start with. Adding tall (for a CUCV)...

    About my new 1028

There’s a guy on YouTube who used, among other things, transmission fluid to help the initial CUCV start. Smoked like crazy at first and lighter smoke for quite a while. Seemed to take forever for all of it to burn off. Yours should eventually clear up.

Guys I could care less if you post your license plate or not. Was just trying to help people know what can be done with it. Post away! I replaced all 3 belts today. Set lasted 3 1/2 years. Gates Brand.

Recommend you do not post a pic of your actual license plate. A lot of information can be found out about you with that.

    Saving a couple OH-58's

He had his pilots license pulled for two years. I’m sure he wishes it was a hovercraft.

    Transmission questions

When was the last time the trans filter was changed? Restricted filter won’t help anything. I know you said the fluid level was good but it has to flow freely through the filter.
