    Laundry list for the m1009

I know the location matters. You missed the point. Even at $1k, it would still be cheaper than making a big block fit and swapping rear ends.

    M101A2 questions

Unless your dead set on electric brakes, the surge brake system works great. All factory parts (HydroAct Brand) are still available from www.crofttrailer.com Once the surge system is correctly fixed, you won’t have to mess with it for years. You will not find parking brake levers anywhere...

    Laundry list for the m1009

I know it’s frustrating to keep chasing issues. Been there when I first got mine. Once you get everything worked out and correct, you will be happy with the results. Hang in there! Sure more power with a gas engine would be nice, but the sound of the 6.2 Diesel is wonderful. To me at least.

    EMP vs MEP003a & 2

Those suits absolutely suck to fly in. Worst were the aviator masks. When you breathed in, it sucked in the mask in a bit, distorting the eye lenses. Which altered how things looked, kinda like a carnival mirror. I learned quick to hold my breath just before skids/wheels down.

    EMP vs MEP003a & 2

That is an understatement! Not only is it scary what’s out there and who has that capability, but also how we are woefully under prepared for such attack’s.

    Laundry list for the m1009

I paid less than $500 for two, running at takeout, complete 6.2Ls in Military engine shipping containers. Sold one that more than paid for both. Had someone offer to sell another one for $600 by someone who stopped to talk about CUCVs when leaving a restaurant. Point is, unless you want the...

    Laundry list for the m1009

If you put in an engine like that, also plan on replacing the rear end to at least a 12 bolt or similar.

Tire and Wheel replacement on a TSC-118 trailer

I would check with your states DOT officer to see if it’s road legal. The Military can tow around whatever it wants. Once in civilian hands, that perk goes away. Doesn't matter if it has brakes, reflectors, wiring plug, etc. Height, width, tire size, load rating, lighting, intended use...

New Member - Potential new owner of M1008 Things to check over

That truck is far from unmolested. I like what looks to be the starter relay hanging under dash.

    About my new 1028

I wash the engine on my M1008A1 every month or so. Engine is turned off and I stay away from alternators and air intake opening. Simple. No issues at all. Doing it for over 3 years. Same for every vehicle I own. 2006 GMC Sierra and 2008 Chevy Silverado included. Have to wash my...

    What is my M1008 Worth?

Plow = Abuse and salt. I wouldn’t give that truck a second look. Now the UH-1H and two AH-1s in the background........I would pay good $$$ for those. Can you PM me any details about that location and Helo owners?

    About my new 1028

Have you bypassed the fuel pump and ran a hose from a fuel can direct to the IP? That will tell you for sure if it’s the IP or a plugged line or air pocket. Last I read you had fuel at filter bleed screw, but nothing going into the IP. Obviously nothing coming out. I had to apply some light...
