I use new Transmission fluid to treat my trailers wood.
Last a very long time (years) before needing additional treatment.
No it does not make wood slick.
Plus the red tint makes it look great.
I knew you weren’t complaining and had factored in replacement parts cost.
Needs fixed before it can work and earn money.
Definitely a Killer trailer at a bargain price.
System installed today.
Before,.......not a hint of service.
Now.......full four bars of signal.
The 30’ pole with the antenna attached helped without a doubt.
Well worth the $400 system cost!
For the amount of trailer and capability your getting, it’s still a bargain.
Even with lottery money, I wouldn’t own one.
Extremely cool trailer, but just too big for fun.
Most never do see the problem until there’s a problem.
Fram Filters suck
Go cheap......Get cheap.
I'm not risking an engine worth thousands on a cheap filter.
You get what you pay for.
Good Luck.
It’s been discussed on SS before.
I have also have witnessed it when a friend didn’t take advice not to use a Fram filter on a Diesel engine.
Bits of filter media clogged oil passages on a Duramax.
Almost destroyed engine. Was shut down before seizing.

When you go in to buy parts, DO NOT say it’s for a surplus Military Vehicle.
Say it’s for 1984 K30 Chevrolet Pickup.
With a few exceptions, that’s all it is.
The Army had Chevrolet keep all the CUCV trucks a 1984 design, regardless of the year it was made.
You will save yourself and the...
Remove the bulb end support clips and move them over the appropriate distance.
The backing place is fairly thin so the screws start easily.
Just don’t use a long screw even though the space behind is clear of wires directly behind that location.
That way you don’t have to worry about...
Perfect!
Fast
Will work in freezing weather
......and will have the job finished before the eggs and bacon go into the cast iron skillet!!
Your hired!!
System will get installed later this coming week.
Snow/sleet is predicted for Monday and temps barely above freezing for a couple of days after that.
No sense of doing the install in nasty weather.
No issues at all.
They have been flawless.
The MH bulbs were the ones designed for and originally installed in the unit.
This is according to original Specs/documentation I’ve found online.
I think I’ve posted a picture of it also.
Not sure why the receiving units later changed over to...
Changed oil and filter.
Mobil1 Delvac 10W40
Air and fuel filters were not due yet.
Cold front coming so I did a detailed inspection all over and underneath truck.
All looked good.
I’m ready.
