    M101a2 trailer bed on a M116 running gear

    It’s nothing more than a carriage bolt w/lock nut and steel bar stock with slightly curved ends. Flat will work just fine. All needed items available at any local hardware store.

    Don’t forget to add new freeze plugs to the growing list. Usually a neglected item and they will eventually corrode and leak. Easy with engine out. Nightmare with engine installed.

    A can of Seafoam will work wonders on a fuel system. I pour a can in about once a month. Sooner if I drive more than usual. Keeps fuel system happy. Never any issues. Keeping the tank topped off will prevent condensation inside also.

    I was not. Had 50 in them. Only time I do 65psi is when I have a heavy load in truck or trailer. Then deflate back to 50 once unloaded. Didn’t hit anything on road either. Just Murphys luck saying hello.

    Lift pump question...

    Use a Delphi or ACDELCO part. That pump isn’t fun to change and the cheap one, like you bought, lasted me a whole two weeks. Wanted to get it running ASAP when I first got it home and bought the cheap one. Mistake! I replaced it with an acdelco and it’s been flawless for over two years.
