Wait a year or two, or less, more water in new tank. Install another tank.
Repeat as necessary.
Totally unnecessary with correct additive.

Any good trailer place will have fenders of all sizes and shapes.
Dexter and Redline are just two of many trailer part/Axle manufacturers that supply the government with parts.
See if the TM lists the fenders separate

I do also add two-cycle oil to the diesel fuel.
Not a single engine/fuel issue.
Everyone has their own idea and preference on what to, or not to, use in their fuel.
For me, Seafoam (everything) and two-cycle oil (for diesel only) is, and has been, working extremely well.
To each his own, but I have had nothing but positive results.
I use it in everything. From motorcycles, lawnmowers, to my 5 ton.
My brother and uncle do also.
Never an issue.
Put a can of Seafoam in the fuel tank and see if that helps.
More times than not it does.
I would also change the fuel filter.
