Anyone have the NSN or part number for the complete jack assembly?
The trailer TM section does not have the M1101/2 TMs.
edit; Its there and guess I was more tired than I thought and missed it.
I would love to have that trailer frame.
Say no to the torch.!
That engine looks great!
Always nice to have time and room for doing it right.
My M1008A1 is still down for radiator repair.
Im having withdrawals
If it was in a tractor, etc. sure, but I wouldn't risk getting stranded knowing I'm way past the normal life of a vehicle battery.
Its just not worth the risk.
I just installed two new red top optima battery's in my GMC duramax.
Old optima set was installed 6 years ago and I could hear it...
Took off fuel tank strainer, cleaned and resealed.
Was seeping fuel on a full tank. Gasket was installed wrong and allowed some fuel by.
All dry now.
Also had a very small pinhole that developed in weld of hydraulic fluid tank for winch.
Seeping just enough to make a mess.
Mig welder...
I can find them all day long at retail prices.
No thanks, don't need one that bad.
I meant GP/GSA surplus sales.
Pefer my rolling stock straight from Govt.
Yea
That's usually the very first thing to do.
Hopefully nothing is too bad and the spindles, etc. are in good shape.
My first one, the drums were rusted to the brake shoes.
Once off, was able to turn drums and save them.
Second trailer was just light rust and also had them turned...
Why use Dorman when ACDELCO still makes an exact replacement harmonic balancer?
Less than $100 on Amazon when I bought mine.
Very easy remove/replace job and did not remove fan shroud or fan.
I did place a piece of heavy cardboard to protect radiator from any dings.
Used standard pulley kit...
Did you get trailer from Govt or private seller?
Once in your possession, did you pull drums and check drums and bearings, etc?
Brake fluid reservoir empty and rusted? Fluid color if full?
Military is famous for not maintaining these and rusted drums, bad bearings, etc., are very common...
