I bought an LMTV bed for my M35A3 to have side access at the GL sale this week. My M35 bed, with fixed sides is becoming a dump trailer.
I've thought of it with my 931A2 but can't bring myself to make such major work on a vehicle I'll probably sell (2012 rebuild).
If the LMTV bed is clear...
I'll have to live with the 14.5 singles until I can work out the 11.00's. I come up short both wheels and tires to change to duals. I'll start collecting to eventually go to the 11.00's on the rear.
Part of the reason I wanted to change was not having side access to the bed. The rigid sides...
An update to show fitting the canopy on the 929. I had 3 bows and decided I needed more headroom, but not too much sticking above the cab protector. I had a troop seat, frame and canopy from an A3 sold and found I could use the uprights to go higher and two of the arched cross-members cut...
I need a hood transported from Belpre Ohio (across from Parkersburg WV) to Rochester Indiana or someplace we can meet. It is 79 x 38 pallet x 60" high and weighs 360#.

Probably by weight or let out the air and see if it collapses down.
I can use the take offs for a trailer, but not flush with money. PM me with the bottom line price.
LOL...Who has some new cheap budd rims Chris? Maybe trade for a couple of good A3 with 14.5's.
Edit....need 8 or 9 rims + 11.00 tires....have some A3 wheels.
The great looks of your truck has helped me change plans.
I'm thinking of doing 11.00 on my A3 rear and don't have rims, but have a friend with some tires I could get reasonable. I was going to make the deuce into a 4x4 and use 395's on it, but the 11.00 would be a great alternative, leaving...
The older ones are wood and the newer bows are (thin) steel across the top and fiberglass uprights. Older troop seats are wood and the newer troop seats are fiberglass (plus the metal frame parts).
I like the 11.00's also, but with the 14.5 r 20 up front (on A3 wheels). They are the same revolutions per mile, same diameter but with less offset rim and a flotation/wider tire.
One of my first 5 tons was made into a 4X4 quad cab (using 395's) and there were some really nice Goodyear G177...
I've been trying different brands of exterior flat and none are as good as the Behr in the Ultra Premium Plus or Marquee. Personally I like a little Floetrol to slow it down. I bought the FS 37030 Black from Ace (yes Ace can mix to FS numbers) and can tell the difference, even on rough but...
