You could just unscrew the solenoid off of the pump and put the inlet line on the pump there and test as you were. This eliminates the solenoid for testing. But again, that inlet line needs to go to the source of the fuel, in the can.
Ok, But you need the Aux in line in the tank of fuel and the aux out line into a can. This is the only way that pump will pump fuel. If the onboard tank is empty then the solenoid should click and allow the pump to pick up fuel. That pump is not tied into the main fuel circuit in any way, it...
I am a bit confused about the line connections. The aux pump will not pump any fuel if it is not connected to and external fuel source. Hooking a line up to the outlet should in no way get fuel out of the pump. Several things here have me confused. The fact you are getting varnish out of the...
Blow out that fuel line form the tank to pumps before hooking up to be sure there is nothing in there that will start the whole problem over again. And are you getting fuel out of the return line with the pumps running and everything hooked up? Will not be a lot but a small trickle back into the...
We have gotten very little snow here but man has it been cold and windy. The wind has been blowing a solid 20-30 mph for well over a week now with gusts over 50 mph.
But are the wires connected to the gauge output or the 110 input to the transducer? I am thinking that since this controller is designed to be used on a Generac set it would sense frequency from the 110 volt output of the genset. In out case the convenience outlet. I seriously doubt they use a...
THAT is why I like my old 00X machines. No electronics to tell the machine what to do other than an overheat switch and and oil pressure switch. Both very easy to check/bypass if needed.
I would run your pressure tests again once you get them cleaned and back together. I have also not seen that type of plunger, looks like a seal of some sort. If I had to guess I would say it may have been replaced and the replacement was from a different contract and different company. As far...
Ray, he did mention it ran out of fuel while doing a load test. while showing 1/4 tank and then light came on. Sounds to me like the the light is correct and the gauge is not.
I don't know if it is in the TM, probably just never paid attention to that since I have run into that same issue on vehicles and trucks that go from normal weather into extreme cold. If it is something that will be out in the cold for long periods I will use graphite in the bushings and shafts...
