I'm not real familiar with the DRASH trailers and the model numbers of them but from what I understand the earliest had a regular lunette like your m116a3. The next generation had the adjustable lunette and then after that they switched over to a different style hitch on the later ones and...
Not sure the part number but that would be a good way to get the hitch a little lower. I’ve got one I’m saving in case I ever want to use it on an m101a3. I got mine as part of a complete front hitch setup.
Here’s a comparison with a stock m116a3 hitch:
There are 4 blocks in the BII for the pipeline truck (in addition to the standard block used on all front winch equipped trucks). From left to right you've got the block with welded hooks for the rear anchor, the block without hooks for the center anchor, the block with the trunnion, a block...

We’ve been trying to get a drawing or scan of the trunnion done but at the same time don’t want to ship it anywhere since it’s irreplaceable.
Some info on the rigging is in the back of the operator’s...
Nice truck! I also vote to fix the bedside since the rest of the truck looks so good. I parted out an xm215 last year but some of the spare tire brackets were lost during transit.
My m59 dump truck has the same bed on it and I bought a rough m215 just to use the cab protector off it. If you...
Like mentioned I've got one just like it. Mine is a little more militarized and has milspec taillights. I've read that silver eagle built 15 trailers for testing, I guess that makes 4 still around. They're kinda goofy but I like the look of it behind a HMMWV. I like the side racks and bows...
I'm planning on being there Friday and Saturday. I'm looking for some Gama Goat parts including a complete winch kit or parts, rear cargo cover, and the pins to connect the tractor to the back half.
I can bring most of the stuff I have listed in the classifieds. I'm parting out a complete...
It's possible the data plate, glove box door, or cab were swapped at some point. Like dozer said the number should be on the left side of the frame. Your tag looks to be original and lightly stamped b1 after m37 which is right for a 1962 m37b1. The full length fording support on the bedside...
Nice truck! How sure of the year are you? It looks to have a lot of early features like the bed, lack of spare tire on the door, and big instrument cluster lights.
The link above has been working off and on. If it doesn't work for you here's the table of known boats listed under that contract.
FY68 Contract for 104 36-ft. Landing Craft, Personnel (Large), 36PL-681 to 68104

I'll be watching this thread. I think my boat restoration will be much further down the line if I even keep it.
This website has listing of boats with similar hull numbers, listed as being built by Marinette Marine. If you have something saying yours was built by Uniflite I'd be interested in...
Cool boat! I put the thread for my 36' LCVP in the member's rides section as there really isn't a good forum for boat info. I believe the number on the back means the following
36 is the length in feet
PL is because it's a Landing Craft Personnel Large
68 is the contract year
96 is the boat...
Even some of the a2 series have these old style headlight insulators. My 1966 m275a2 had them while my 1967 m35a2 had the newer style. I'll need to pick up a set of 12 insulators so if the ones you got from White Owl look good I'll probably give them a try. I haven't found an alternative yet...
