If anyone else needs these manuals send me a PM and I'll send a link to download them from dropbox. I'm not sure if the link is permanent or not so I don't want to post it here.
I'll be at the show and can bring most of the large item's I've got in the classifieds if the stuff is paid for. Medium tow bars, deuce/m37/CUCV/ and other parts.
Some things I'm looking to buy at the show:
m36 side rack assembly like pictured. I really only need just the 4 stakes for one...
While the front individual windshields are the same and work fine between the m35 series and m37 (other than the wiper line issues if you have the uncommon offset wiper setup), the side window assemblies are not interchangeable.
Those look like the winch data plate holes. The bottom two look to be drilled out larger. The large hole to the right of the cluster is for the heater defrost setup, m37s don't have tachometers stock.
I sprayed some paint on it before I put the multifuel engine in. It's nothing special I just wanted it to match what the rest of the truck will be eventually. The whole cab is pretty beat, it's had a ton of welding done underneath. It's pretty solid but I certainly would have traded it for a...
More boring stuff done today: Various lines in the engine bay hooked up, air shift transfer case switch installed. Easy work with a couple parts trucks to pick from. Just need to look and see if I've got an engine stop cable around somewhere, neither parts rig had one.
I didn't say a2s and a3s used the same wheels as earlier trailers, I said it's all standard m116/m116a1/m116a2 stuff depending on the setup. It's not uncommon to find tool trailer boxes on those 3 different chassis right from the auctions. I didn't mention a3s as I've yet to see a pioneer box...
The frame/axle/wheels are the same as their m101/a1/a2/ counterparts. All standard m116/m116a1/m116a2 stuff depending on the setup. If the rubber hinges are in good shape it should stay pretty dry, all of mine did. There isn't a special M number for these, and I don't believe a special...
With some problems with other vehicles and trailers I didn't get to work on the dump truck too much in the last week or two. Had to move it back into the mud to get other stuff done.:-|
We ran the rest of the fuel lines a few days ago. Yesterday we installed the jackshaft, rear driveshaft...
The one on the left is 1.25", the one on the right is 1". No mag drill, just used a couple cordless drills. I drilled the one on the right with regular bits and the other with a hole-saw.
