Ok.... I give up. I find all kinds of camper conversion information, but nothing on just general specs and info.
Is the M109 a Deuce with a box bed? And is it just the older style deuce, like the A2. Or do they also use the A3 chassis?
Are you serious? ...... What a joke. Not planning on running wmo anyway, I was mostly speaking about running gas/diseal/oils mix if a situation arose that I couldn't get diesel or not enough diesel alone.
I'll read the post you mentioned, as I have no idea what you are talking about on fuel...
Yeah I'm not looking for anything like that, don't have the $'s. Just looking for mostly a stock Deuce, with a few add on's basically, like an extra fuel tank. But he's only a couple hour drive from here, and he said he's currently got about 17 trucks in-stock. So plenty to look around at and...
Thanks for the links, very interesting to see the process of the builds. Yeah I first found his trucks on ebay, and man can he build some Deuces! That was the first time I had ever seen a Crew Cab Deuce! I hadn't even thought of one being done like that before.
From everywhere that I have...
Well to be honest, that is one reason I am getting one. The way things are looking, we're going to need it.
I have read that they used two A2's to build one A3. But I thought everything was rebuilt, I didn't know that there are still parts that are 30 years old on the A3. Or were you just...
I had to go back and look up the listing to make sure, but Yes you are Correct, it is C&C Equipment. He's a member too? It seems like anyone who has anything to do with MV's is Here [thumbzup]
Its better that way though, got everyone in one place 8-)
I don't how I missed that post, and several of the others that they listed also. Thanks for the links
But they also seem to repeat the going argument though that I have seen. A2 people mostly say A2's are better, most A3 people say the A3's are better. I know the A3 has several updates, such as...
Hi All, I'm going tomorrow to look at some deuces for sale at a "dealer" not to far from here. I guess you would call him a dealer at least, he has 17 or so Trucks. Plus he also rebuilds, customizes, sells tons of parts and other.
Anyway, this will be my first time buying a deuce, which will...
I think I found a place not to far from here that is selling several deuces. I'll probably call and go check that out as soon as I get a chance. But I do appreciate the offer.
I'm pretty sure its contagious, and I've already been continuously exposed to it since I signed up to SS several weeks...
Yeah, that obviously the next step. I know I have seen them before at some point, but I never was looking at them thinking "Thats the kinda of truck I need...." at the time. In any case, I'm moving forward from here, there is a place I'm going to be checking out soon that apparently sells them...
Yeah I guess they are! I've never seen one up close in person, that I can remember at least (but I probably have in a parade or something). But from all the photos and such, I thought they were much bigger.
Now here's a question that I haven't seen an example of or talk of:
From what I have seen and understand on bobbing a deuce, basically they remove the rear axle and then replace the bed with a trailer bed. Or at least that what I have read on a few different sites.
But here's a question...
:shock::shock: - Seriously??! I would have never thought that! I guess its just because they look so huge. Thanks! That kind of puts its size in perspective for me.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions! [thumbzup]
They have really helped a lot!
After considering your suggestions, and looking through more vehicles, I have come to the conclusion that a bobbed deuce is probably going to be the route to go. It should cover all the aspects that I need, plus...
