No GL Shipper Listed for Wisconsin???

Its a deuce, that's why I cant transport myself. I thought about driving it.... but, you never really know the full condition of the vehicle. Plus you never know when some odd problem pops up too, anything from a wheel bearing to a busted fluid line etc. I could go and drive it back myself...

No GL Shipper Listed for Wisconsin???

I was looking on GL and I don't see a shipper for Wisconsin. I was looking at an MV and at least giving it some thought. But if I can't find a shipper, I don't have anyway to transport. I tried google, but just come up with the civy vehicle shippers, and I doubt they will go onto a base to...

    EMP Ready M1009 question

Is there anything that you did to your deuce to make sure it will still run? Is there any spare parts that you will carry in case something burns out? Just asking as I am planning to get a deuce soon, and was wondering about what effect an EMP would have on it too.

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Yes You are Correct about the #'s. And yes I took both of your advice, and did a chat this morning and just asked. They said unless stated otherwise, all vehicles can get a SF-97 upon request after pickup. Just in case that a problem might arise later, I printed and emailed the transcript of...

    Show us your Military Trailers

Hey I just had an idea, see what you think: What if I was to use the M103 base (or other # if needed) like you were saying. That way we have the correct tongue height and clearance. But then go and find a cheap box trailer, or go to a trailer sales place and see if they will sell just the box...

    Show us your Military Trailers

I need a trailer just like that. It has room and is enclosed. You would think the military would make something like that for a deuce...

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Uhmmm. Just had one more quick question: If it doesn't say that it must be loaded, and the vehicle was drivable. Could it be driven off the lot, or do all locations always require that it be loaded...???

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

I was starting to think that might have been the case. They really need to update or clarify that in their Terms and Conditions. Nope, it just states "Quanity: 1" So thats a good sign. Ok, I get it now. Even If it were a "scrap" vehicle, that doesn't mean that it has to be destroyed. Only...

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Yeah, I could care less if I have to get a rebuilt title or whatever, just so that I can get a title. But it doesn't say anything about "scrap only" nor that a Sf-97 won't be issued. So I think you're right, I should be in the clear.

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

\ It Doesn't say Scap no. Would that be listed under their "Condition Code"? Or in the Description I would guess.

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Yeah that's kind of what I figured, I just thought it might have something to do with their paperwork though.

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Oh Ok, So I was completely lost. But it sounds like that is a good thing this time :) I was going to say, that is ridiculous if a truck that is drivable is listed for scrap only. I couldn't figure it out for sure, So I just thought I would ask. Thanks for the fast reply and info. So do you...

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Not sure if this matters but it had an F7 Condition Code: Economically reparable material which requires repair, overhaul, or reconditioning. Includes reparable items. ¶

Quick GL Question: If GL "Lot #" is greater than 6000 on a vehicle....

Hi, I have a quick question. I have never made a purchase from GL yet, but I am possibly considering a truck that is listed on there. But I have been reading the "Terms & Conditions" on the GL website, and something just doesn't make sense. TRANSFER OF TITLE TO VEHICLES: Government Liquidation...
