My heater was not working when I got it as well, the fuel pump electrical connection was unplugged, an easy fix. PM sent on box parts.

Did anyone find a source for these? The diode inside is fried causing pass through voltage energizing the compressor pulley all the time even with the a/c off. The actual relay itself looks fine.

I'm not jumping on the bypass wagon. By bypassing to 12v you are doubling the current drawn on the 12v supply wire and I'm not sure it's rated for that. You are also pulling a large amount of current from the front battery which will over time weaken it. Regular glow plug maintainance will...

Check to make sure the cold start solenoid is working. Sometimes the temp sensor for it goes bad and makes for hard cold starting.

It will only go on one way, some times it takes a bit to get it to bleed out the air. I have done several and some take longer than others.

Two things, are you near the area the "Jungle Gold" show is filming where all the armed chineese are taking over claims? and as per GL rules did you have to get export permits to ship military equipment out of the US or are gen sets no longer requiring EUC's? Good luck and hope they work for...

You may loose some power but as long as the trailer has surge brakes you should be fine.
