    6.2 injector pump timing

I took mine to a diesel shop to have the timing set when I replaced the IP. I was allowed in the shop so I could see what they did. They had a timing tool that hooked a lead to the #1 injector line, then to voltage, the meter showed the rpm and timing, then they moved the pump in the direction...

    Two questions regarding gear ratio's

You have to swap carriers as stated above, 4:56 uses a different carrier than the 3:73/4:10. With stock tires: 4.56 @ 55mph 2806 rpm 4.10 @ 55mph 2523 rpm 3.73 @ 55mph 2295 rpm In my opinion a swap to 4.10 doesn't gain enough to justify the expense, I would go with 3.73.

Anyone have a M1031 Generator Cover?

The M1031 is just a cab/chassis designation, not all of them had the shop body.

Anyone have a M1031 Generator Cover?

Coleman's surplus in PA has one or two parted out, might check with them.

    Two questions regarding gear ratio's

You will have to change the carrier with 4:10 as well, 4:56 up/4:10 down is the carrier cutoff. 3:73 will be the best overall gear.

    NP205 Question

I am going to install a 700R4 in my M1031, gathering all the parts and information first as it's my daily driver and I can't have it down for an extended time. I am looking at the Advance adapter kit 50-6902 which will adapt the 700R4 to the NP205 with 32 spline input as used with the Th400...

Help ID this 101 gen. trailer please.

Trailer is a M101A1, not really a "generator" trailer. Gensets are the old style 3kw sets(gas), can't tell if they are ac or dc without seeing the control box on them. A clean cargo trailer seems to bring 3-5 hundred on GL. Not sure on the gensets, all depends if they are ac or dc and work.

    Fuel filter base

It's 49.95, and a direct replacement readily available NOS. With a retro fit you will have to buy plumbing fittings, figure out how to mount it, etc. Flip two bales, pull filter off, push new one on and flip bales back on, not so difficult.
