    Towerguy1's New PIPELINE Deuce !

I was up there last weekend, like said it's all one lot. Given the location this would be an expensive loadout for what's left, there are a few M37's, M35' and associated big trailers. I bought an M151 from him but I see all the M151 stuff is gone. Auction is tomorrow. There is a really clean...

broken glow plug tip, cant get it

Before I bought the tool to remove them I used a piece of wire with a pice of good sticky chewing gum on the end, that worked pretty well, also some stiff grease may work. The tool was well worth the $70.

    M1010 conversion to Expedition Vehicle??

They had two 24v alt and a black box to run the 12/24 which gave problems. I had a M1010 and it is possible to outfit the back pretty well but the truck is fairly heavy and not sure how well it would do off road and the low gearing gets old fast.

    CUCV Winch?

They are not listed in the TM, and have never seen one. As far as I know the only factory mounted winch in cuurent times on a light vehicle was the hummer.

    CUCV cuts off

Sounds like an airleak as said before or you may have the old style(fuel)lift pump. The newer style has a check valve that won't allow fuel to drain back. Same for the older IP's, there is an article in the TM section that explains it.

Ham Radio Operators / Steel Soldiers

I have a 106 in my tty shelter and agree on the noise. The early RT-662 did have a noise blanker, later models did away with it. I use mine for tty and voice, mostly on the various military group nets, have had good signal reports. Besides the weight of the equipment the only other negative...

I have one but I not sure what model it is, will look when I get home. I would think any tach/dwell would work as as long as the voltage is correct.
