I don't think you'll have much luck importing whole trucks into the US, but shipping in used parts might be a possibility. Might be nice to swap one of those german diesels into a US M35.
Actually would be nice to do it with a different (easier to find) MC. Either way I'll probably be one of your first customers. Always worry about those brakes.
Yeah that makes sense. I got stuck on bolting it on for some reason. Really no need to since it's already too heavy to take off without a crane or forklift. Might as well make it a one piece setup. Thanks
Awesome fab work. I'm planning on doing something similar this summer. Do you have any ideas on how to integrate a roof rack into this type of hardtop?
It's really not hard if you follow the TMs and read the threads on here. Ask eastern for an estimate of what they're actually going to charge you. I bet once you get that number in front of you the job won't look nearly as intimidating anymore.
Do you have any more pictures of that setup? I'm actually thinking about doing something else, but this is an interesting idea I might want to build in. I'm assuming the idea is to pull stuff into the bed up a ramp?
