Those are the remains of the Gov-lock. It will eventually shed bigger parts which will lodge in the ring gear and explode the differential. Why on earth did you find chunks and then put it back together?????

I can tell you that Xylene works great on the fuel varnish. Carb cleaner makes it even stickier! Don't even think of your parts washer!!!!!! Be sure to clean all of the fuel pump screens.

OK, I did some looking at the differences between the shows and I see that the one by Joe and Paul has an SM after it which from what I can gather is called a Michigan Service Mark. I do not really know what that is. I get the impression that maybe they ran the show for a bit and now are not...

Keep in mind that it was raining Saturday morning and the forecast was for heavy rain later in the day. I think that influenced some of the vendors. I had a buyer for an item my neighbor had but he never even set up on Sat. so the item did not get sold. I did notice a couple of vendors missing...

If you go with a Lincoln 180 series make sure you get the 180C. The "C" stands for commercial and has a MUCH higher duty cycle. You will not find the C at Lowes or Home Depot, You will have to go to a welding supply. Unless you are welding 1/2" a lot then the 180C is a really good machine.
