I'm glad I saw this post ,I was thinking about doing the Humvee tire and wheel thing to my m1028. So where is a good place to buy these wheels and tires?

So I got my wish sooner then later. Ah couple days after making the first tray the batteries crapped out. They weren't a matched pair. Besides being different brands, one was 950CCA, and the other 925CCA. So I bought ah pair of yellow tops off Ebay and had to remake the whole tray from scratch.

Are these floating calipers like on the m1008's & m1028's? If so you'll need to use grease specific to brakes on the sliding portions of the caliper.

Oh yeah it did! This past week I installed new Rancho shocks. Found the old stockers were mounted upside down:cookoo:. Then had the tires balanced, they had never bin balanced before. Found ah hand full of rubber saw dust in one of them. So yeah this week it went from ah skate board to ah Cadillac!

It squatted 4-3/4" and got about 17 MPG . And It jump started ah semi truck that was in my way. So we had ah busy day today.

I read in the WIKI that the front & rear diffs take ( 90/75 ), is this a typo? The only similar gear oil I've found is ( 75/90 ).
