    Engine stop cable

What type vehicle? Deuce? 5-Ton? Other? All have unique hang-ups. Posting in the model specific Forum might get a more focused set of replies.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

WOW - What a great idea! It would even be battlefield ready or extra-vehicular activities like inspections or repairs along a desolate trail or in the wilderness.

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

Air Canada Near Tragedy AVERTED at SFO This is another one of those posts that really doesn't seem appropriate anywhere else in the SS Forums. Recently, an AIR CANADA pilot approaching SFO (San Francisco International) mistakenly lined up on the TAXIWAY instead of the RUNWAY!!! On the taxiway...

B-29 "Doc" Awarded New Airworthiness Certificate

An old adage about engineering design goes like this, "Form follows function." Generally translated, the best most efficient and effective designs are seldom "stylized". Each component design that integrates to reach the ultimate purpose is intentionally conceived. If a feature has no useful...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Those toolboxes are a nice touch. But I too MUST question the LEGALITY of your new and expanded vehicle width. The US NATIONAL standard for the width of a non-OVERSIZE (Permit REQUIRED) vehicle is 102" (8-1/2 Feet). Here's an RV Forum's article on the topic...

Hmmm.... Draw and Quarter the perps using the pintles of a couple of 6x6's.... or winches. This could go MEDIEVAL in a hurry.

Official 2017 Ga. Military Vehicle Rally info thread. Oct. 18-22, 2017

I seem to recall that prior year's events entertained the rumor that the SS RAILROAD Contingent might steam into the compound. This neighborhood strife banter could foster resentment from the other side of the TRACKS ! Can't y'all just live and let live, come together in peace, and put aside...

They wanted orange smoke, but it was cost prohibitive and clashed with the blue sky in the background. OK - all kidding aside.... I believe you are correct. EIGHT early evolution jets were now nearly as clean-burning and efficient as their subsequent generational descendants.

XB-70 Valkyrie - Mach 3+ Bomber (North American)

The XB-70 was one of the first model airplanes I ever assembled by myself - though still under the watchful eyes of my Dad. The finished product hung from my bedroom ceiling until I vacated that room to go to Basic Training. With it's landing gear extended she was frozen in a steep climbing...
