where does fuel cap gasket 0110-0419 live? the ipc shows under the spacer in the head but that spacer looks thin and I don't really want to pull on it... any one have a photo of the spacer removed from the cylinder head between the heat sink......
mine just was replaced due to it leaking I was able to find a switch at napa part number 701-1577 it is normally open set at 15lbs. I have not been able to try the generator out with it yet due to my injectors removed but it should work fine.... my gaskets will be here Thursday so I will be able...
looks like Ambac, WMR2041/7X, Copper Washer, 0.562" Hole Dia. - is a part number for the copper washer. I was able to buy a pack of 25 off the big auction site for 12.00 I will measure the outside dia. and post the results when they arrive...
just received them today!!! thank you!!!! and the pressure settings on the injectors were related to my exhaust temps!! my 1300 and 1600 psi were about 200f the 1100psi was running 400f and the one that wasn't popping was about 150f
I have all 3 gaskets on order for each cylinder and will hold off until they arrive I want to make sure I have no leaks that could cause low compression.
for me my mep ran great under no load but when I did my first power run I made 50 percent power no problem but as I increased load a sputter developed like a miss... my cylinder temps were two the same... one 50 degrees higher and one 40 lower... that coincides with the repair reports for what...

that part of Vail doesn't even have power so generators and solar/wind are the only options..... just got a repair report of my injectors. one was popping at 1600 2 were about 1100 and one not at all so a new fuel nozzle was installed and set to 1750psi... now waiting on new gaskets to arrive...

I am slowly working the unit and getting it right for hopefully in 2 years I will be living in power outage country so I ordered all new gaskets and trying tune it in... my unit wasn't treated right in life so I am hoping with a lil TLC it wont let me down..
ran today for about 45 mins at 25-50 percent load and the smoking went away, all 4 cylinders are working according to the temp probe. I am getting what sounds like sputtering sound but I am making power, looks like I am going to pull the injectors and get them worked over...
I do need to add I was also getting black smoke from both mufflers along with blue from the back at 50 percent load... I have put 2-3 hours total on the unit unloaded since regeneration with no indication of bad rings.... the fuel system was flushed and a diesel fuel conditioner/ injector...
