Some people have done this, but it's not cheap somewhere around $1,200 if you install it yourself, if you have someone else install it you have to add labor. ODIron has them, do a search on google and they will be sites
What brand of glow plugs did you use? I had Wellman's 070 and they went quick i think they are garbage and they swell up at the tip, now i have ac60g's for 8 months now and not one has blown up. I highly recommend the ac60g's
I know what you mean about that look, people ask me all the time how many miles it has and you say 50,000 miles they look like a deer in the headlights
Mine is loose and it tightened it and it still loosened up so i need to use some locktite to keep it from loosening up, it does cause alot of problems that people think is something wrong with the engine
Did fix the glow plug problem, they might need to be replaced, i recommend AC60g's i have had them in my M1009 for 9 mounths now and not one has blown up
