Good luck on the brakes.
I believe the shackles are the same as the M37. I was thinking of stealing the ones off the wife's M37 but if she takes retribution for that then she'd inherit the Goat and all I'd get is a pine box (or clay urn).
Warthog's looks like a lot less work than the parts Goat :)
I can't say enough about how much easier the steering is in mine after switching to the JD Cornhead grease. Plus the fact the steering box doesn't leak now.
Since there's a limited number of them out there or for sale you have a limited number of people looking for the information. Check some of the threads about what current owners are doing and you'll get an idea of what to check for.
NO. Unless you change the axle to add electric brakes to it you shouldn't be towing any distance without something like a M35 or M923 that can supply air and actuate the brakes.
They're not that rare but I was hoping to find someone that had a whole set like David did versus piecing different ones together. I was able to get most of them at muttparts.com. The ones that are on mine now are engraved instead of stamped so I should be able to get a trophy shop to match...
I'd be willing to give them a shot but their email address isn't listed anywhere on their site and my system won't connect through their "click here to email us" button. If anyone has a direct email please post it.
You did fine. Tough to please everyone and I'm sure others like a lighter shirt. I'm just used to wearing Carhart shirts so everything else seems to be cheaper.
Reached him in Feb and he was having some medical issues but haven't been able to make contact again through phone (VM box FULL) or email. Does anyone know if he shows up at the MVPA Conventions? I was hoping to get a set of plates for my Goat before the Audey Murphy VA show this month but...

Several GRA-39 repeater units
AN-GVS-5 IR Set cases - just the fiberglass cases
Miles of field phone wire on aluminum spools
Bunch of little odds and ends left over from prior projects, couple of Cambro Food Containers and...
Gee that's a lot friendlier comment than the PM you sent me. Guess it's braver to hide in the shadows. Oh, let me add the LOL and :) so, like you, everyone knows I'm joking.
I used to fit into the category of "blissfully ignorant." Back in my younger days I made 3 seperate trips from FL to ID (or reverse) in $200 vehicles "no phone, no tools, no food, no water." One trip I had 3 flats thankfully the last one just as I pulled into town. Did it need new tires...
There are 61,899 members. I don't believe I know 6189.9 people total, let alone from this site. I'm certain I don't know that many that want to know me :) But if you're going to be in Topeka stop by and say Hi.
And we missed meeting by a couple of hours when you and Westy came to San Antonio...
My Spring Rally shirts arrived today. Love the design but was a little disappointed in the sheerness of the T-shirt. It'll look good on the wife though.
No I won't ask. When someone comes into a thread where the OP talks about breaking down and starts a rant about people not maintaining their vehicles it's pretty obvious they had the OP in mind (with others) when they started the rant. If you just generally want to rant about something and not...
