    CSM Davis recommends

I had my local hose shop make me a new set of hoses for an M818. The six fuel selector hoses cost me $20 and the main hose was $6. They reused the Parker push on connectors that where on the truck

    Doghead Starter Relay Mod Question

I have seen so many trucks that have had the wiring hacked. Without further info and pictures of the wiring it is hard to tell what they did to the wiring.

    Doghead Starter Relay Mod Question

Sometime the trucks are rewired for 12v. If that is the case no need for the relay, just jumper the purple wires together.

    Pm'ing Pic's

No PM attachments at all. That feature was turned off a couple of years ago. And no, do not ask if it can be reinstated because it will not.

1984 Chevy D30 What did I get myself into?

Looks like the glowplug resistor pack has been bypassed, making the GP system straight 12v. (a good thing) Make sure you read the stickies and do the Doghead stater relay upgrade. No need to break your new toy.

Doghead Relay - Only 6V to PPL/WHT Wire

Never start electrical troubleshooting without fully charged AND load tested batteries. Test them, do not guess. If you don't know the true condition you are just pissing in the wind. I also agree that it is more than likely a bad battery.
