    M1009 Battery size/make/model

New interstates do cost that much. Sometimes Interstate has "refurbished" Group 31 batteries in stock for under $50. You have to ask for them. One of the first things that is talked about in the technical manuals is that before starting any electrical work is to make sure you batteries are...

That connector was on the main 12v for the truck. If it goes bad nothing will work.

What are the preferred CUCV replacement seat covers?

The M1009 has "special" front seats and the covers are not sold by any of the restoration companies. Fellow member 82ABNMP does a lot of M1009 refurbishing. He has new seat covers made locally and they turn out great. Here is one of his latest...

    M1009 CUCV (Blazer) restoration questions

Low coolant module. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?50551-CUCV-Switches-Diodes-Relays Picture #9 in the first batch The flat connector looks like it is off the steering column. Turnsignal switch maybe. The small white connector is more that likely the kickdown on the throttle pedal.

Form fitted rubber flooring for M1008 CUCV?

Barrman used the LMC flooring for his son's M1009. While it is not a perfect fit and did require some trimming it turned out good. Make sure you set it in the sun for a few hours to make the rubber pliable. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?90738-M1009-aka-RED-project-under-way
