So far the bumper, grille, tailgate, rear fenders, and the drivers door have been removed. We are going to try to remove the bed sides to start welding tomorrow. Other than that I've just been collecting a lot of parts.

We pulled the top of the transmission today, the shift lever was out in the middle of nowhere. We got it back to where i think it should be then put the top back on the trans. With a bolt to temporarily replace a broken pin at the top of the assembly, the transmission will now shift into all...
I will be looking at the transmission next, as well as cleaning all of the vintage trash from under the seat and in the bed.:-) I didn't get an email Jeff.
Made some progress on the truck tonight. It's 13 degrees outside and dark, but we removed all the racks and the tank from the back.8) There was a lot of steel back there. I also removed the passenger west coast mirror as the glass is broken, and the soft top frame. Here's some more pictures.
