No zombies, but I am working on a contract to buy up all 4723 trucks left for sale once the inspections are over.... If anybody wants to buy any of them Starting bids will be $30,000 each ;-)
Yes that second truck is yours, the Tractor belongs to Earth and is headed to Vermont.
Over all it is a decent truck. I was not home when Hotshot dropped it so I had to move it out of the street and into the driveway. Started up good, good strong batteries. This morning when they came after it...
The way we count days and the way GL counts days is different for some reason. By my count I am at 47 days and by GLs I am at 42.
You know that once you are over 60 days you can ask for a refund without penalty?
Yes windchill has limited effect on machinery; except under certain conditions windchill can be -50 at 20 F and it doesn't matter.
Arctic heaters warm people up, not engines:wink:
Okay.... You have all kinds of options for cold starting without electricity available. The generator is not...
Live chatted today to see if the waiting average was still 37 days...yeah it is a 60 day average now.... I guess the good news is that the date I have for being sent to battle creek and the date GL is using are several days apart so I will not get my sale canceled before the end of...
The MPs have always let me on in the past, but no go yesterday. Said that they have been told that nobody is allowed on without Marcus present.
Still waiting on my EUC also, the truck I was scheduled to pick up is a 5 ton belonging to another member. We are going to try again on the 3rd.
I went to pick one up Yesterday at Frankfort and after killing 2 hrs waiting for Marcus with GL to show up I gave up because I had an appointment I had to go to in the afternoon. This is the 4th time I have had an appointment to meet him out there and the third time he didn't show up. I hope he...
This one didn't matter to me:wink: I understand the point of the rule from the aspect of potential buyers, but I also have a hard time refraining from jumping up and down and saying "look what GL has now":-P
They did not really change much in the last 30 years. You can line a truck up from the 60s 70s, and 80s and you will be real hard pressed to visually see any difference between them.
I believe it is in respect of other members who might be bidding on an item; if you post info on the site about and auction item it potentially could ruin a chance of winning once more people are made aware of the listing.
Not that I care, but we are not supposed to post about open auctions. You can only talk about them once they close.
Yes it is a 5 ton, it also has a broken drive shaft and who all knows what else is wrong with it. Some bidder is going to be very disappointed.
It is a 60s model truck. That can be told by the tach being mounted separate of the speedo. It means the truck was originally a gas powered truck and has been upgraded to multi-fuel and had the tach added.
School loans don't go away until they are paid in full, so buy the truck, you only live once:-D If you loose your source of income the loans will be there when you can afford to pay them again:wink:
There; I will be the bad influence:-P
Ky will not take an SF-97. If you bought the truck in KY than you are set because they will send you a title. (on the application you will have no choice but to pay for the title) Not sure how that works if you bought the truck out of state, whether it goes by the state you bought in or the...
