Anywhere from scrap price to $10K. There are many more trucks that will be coming out and the average seems to be around $3500

fluid leaking out of transfer case

You answered your own question by posting the video. The tail housing holds ATF and when you pull the driveshaft out of the outside seal, fluid will drain out.

    Yet another starter broken thread.

Big mouth or small mouth. They both work the same for your needs. Now if you had a manual transmission you would need the big mouth starter.

Is that green wire attached to the frame or is it just looping back to the glow plug? Lighting makes it hard to tell.

    Yet another starter broken thread.

Do you know if you have a 27MT direct drive or the 28MT gear reduction? Is the motor portion fat or skinny? Knowing that we can tell you which nose cone to order. Post #45 has the two sizes of starters. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?15551-Starter-bracket-bolt-size

The 27MT (direct drive) nose nose can be found at NAPA for about $16. No need to chance breaking the block.

    CARC color paint help

Behr house paint or Gillespie Rattle cans from RAPCO I have seen it many times where the CARC will peel if the surface was not cleaned or not cleaned properly. I am working on a M818 that has a fresh tan CARC paint job and it is peeling off in BIG chunks.

Stereo in the M1009, I hear my engine in my speakers!

On the factory alternators there was an external noise suppressor. Most of them have disappeared over the years. Maybe you can add one.

    Suppressor on bus bar

DH will help you get it worked out. And once again a "mechanic" tries to burn down a CUCV because he didn't take the time to learn the vehicle and thought he knew how everything "should" work. I have seen it time and time again. :-(
