Sorry my misunderstanding. I got the info off another thread here but can't remember it off hand. What I did was simply take some blade connecters and slide them over the appropriate pin of the trailer plug. That way I can still use it with my military vehicles too. The pins are: J - right...
I had the same experience today in Comal County. The only difference is I got the trailer from another SS member and just showed them the BOS from him and a photo of the data plates. She had to think about it for a minute or two but came to the conclusion that since it was a "registration...
One thing I noticed when swapping to LEDs on my M1101 was the extra ground wire compared to the standard lights and had to add a loop to the vehicle ground. Not sure it would make a difference but I've found many times with electrical gremlins it goes back to the ground.
Late 80's or early 90's (memory is not what it used to be) some General officer was having a birthday bash or reception of some kind at the Yakima Training Center in WA when a couple of F-14s out of Whidbey Island did a low level fly over. Pulled the tent up out of the ground and on top of the...
If anyone is interested in some Cambro Food Containers I have them for $75 w/Polar Inserts or $50 w/o inserts. I'm not going to bring any unless somone has an interest. Also I have some of the Cambro Drink Containers for $30.
We're just the opposite. By the 1st part of May the temps will be in the low 90s during the day (at best). One of our biggest events is the Central Texas Air Show which is always the 1st weekend in May (May 1-3, 2015). While we get to set the trucks up on the grassy area next to the runway...
It's very fortuitous that it is the weekend after Temple. Now I just have to convince Juli I can handle a long weekend out in the sun and heat before we fly over there for a week.
So will it be ready for the show in May? Already booked our Galway B&B so just need to plan out the rest of the trip. We're going to be in Doolin and Galway most of our time there but not going to miss seeing MVs if they're available.
Also be advised that in most states, not sure about VA, that any 939 series vehicle require a Class B or Class A driver's license. Whether that's a CDL or not again depends on the state. Good luck on the search.
EPDM is what I got from McMaster-Carr for my 923A2. Looks and feels the same as any other super rope I've had (of course most of that was old and brittle while this is new and stretchy). Can't remember but seems like it was around .50 a foot.
Been twice and the wife drove most of the time. She said it was like being at Disneyworld with the little cars on a track. I spent most of the time yelling "CURB!" when she got a little too close to the left. Going back again next spring.
Didn't I tell you? I traded yours for a 24v ice cream maker.
Anyone else need a M44 (818, M35) series cab reinforcement plate? I still have a stack and it'd be a lot cheaper picking one up in person than trying to ship it.
A lot of the 923A2s had the large filter removed. If you look at the TM for the A2 it doesn't show the large filter. Mine had no filter at all and the petcock was so full of blasting media from the overhaul that it wouldn't open. I pulled the petcock, cleaned it out, and went ahead and added...
Now that the GL auctions are back on I'm hoping to join the club. Unfortunately when the majority of these were coming out a few years ago I wasn't in a position to get one. Think I've finally convinced the wife it'd be better than paying double that to buy a small tractor that couldn't do...
