running a multi (LDT) w/o fan and or radiator

I have pulled the radiator and fan from my deuce so I can have the radiator repaired. It worked out that I was able to pull them in daylight, but I may not be so lucky when I go to reinstall. Where the truck is sitting I have no access to electricity, but if I move it a quarter of a mile I can...

Mile Marker Industrial 24V Electric Winches - 12,000+ lbs cheap

Favorably comparing a 12,000lb electric winch to the 10,000lb pto winch on a deuce on anything but ease of use is laughable. The deuce winch is grossly underated and can make very hard pulls over and over without breaking a sweat. Try the same with an electric and as soon as it gets hot...

    air shift axle conversion

I would actually prefer a functional sprague to an airshift. I would say that if you have 6WD in both forward and reverse, leave it alone.

M35A3 from GA to WA, I need ideas.

If spending that much time in a deuce appeals to you, I say go for it. Especially if your brother is a competent mechanic it should be no problem to make sure the truck is up to it. taking care of the little things like .... drain and replace all fluids replace all filters (keep the good...

Lifting safety what are you using

a 4x4 post across the cab and a chain fall work for trans/ tcase removal & install. I would reccomend a 12-20 ton bottle jack for tire changes, some cribbing, and several 6ton jackstands.

deuces at dealership in Sussex NJ

Looks like a smart jeep dealer to me. You know how complete strangers will walk up and start asking you about your truck? One of the biggest challenges for dealers these days is to get people on the lot. I know I am biased, but that would be much more successful at getting me to stop by than...

    WWII 1/4 ton trailer

after doing a little more digging I have found the axle does not indicate Willys, so now I am thinking it was built by bantam.
