Yes there is a small seal, Napa has a special tool that slips over the shaft and enables you to remove the seal.

Make sure all the hoses are connected to the stock air cleaner.

M37 Replace the coil, it is inside the distributor. The diaphram in the fuel pump is leaking fuel into your oil pan. Have the pump rebuilt.

I put 33's on my M1009 with original wheels without any problems, no trimming required.

high shift I had the same probelm on my M1009 and changed the modulator ( was not leaking) and it cured the problem.

Have to replace the 15 inch wheels with 16.5 inch wheels/

Put a 4 inch lift on it and a set of steel USA wheels and run the hmmwv radials.
