I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

I think we should all start freaking out on for sale listings like craigslist.... We can email all the sellers we can find and tell them OMG...you are selling them too cheap, didn't you hear....... that is sure to drive private sale prices up and then I will sell mine the minute I get them...

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

It was mentioned earlier, it is just a letter that basically states to read and familiarize ourselves prior to bidding with the terms of use for the GSA site in regards to buying, paying and changes in code status. I do have an account with them, but have never bid on anything. The letter...

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

I also got the GSA letter today and I have never bought anything from them. I also don't currently have a truck in my possession so it is just something they are sending to everybody on their mailing list.

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

That does not explain why 30 trucks vanished from sale 4737 and are in transit to a new location! If this is a contract disposal you can bet that the contractor is hoping it carries on. If we just bought the last of the m35s we made very good investments:-D

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

Not a real sweet deal, that is only 1690.00 per truck when many bring over 2 k each.

    Deuce heater options

The two on GL are over 700.00 now, somebody is nuts. I could strip the Arctic heaters out of my trucks and sell them and recoup the price of the trucks apparently.

    m35a2 Battlefeild repair kit

You can limp a truck in pretty good usually. I moonlight in the summers driving a 6x6 concrete mixer. When the load is perishable and the truck breaks down you have to do what you can to get that truck somewhere where you can get the load off. I broke a drive shaft this past summer on the way...

    m35a2 Battlefeild repair kit

Wow, for that kind of money I would just drive her til she will not drive anymore and then call a wrecker.

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

If not millions, I would say its in the 100s of thousands. They stared making these in the late 60s and made them through the 80s, three different manufacturer's I agree that there are not many left in service, Most probably have been destroyed, used for anything from target practice to god only...

    GL wants my Deuce back

Those trucks are not fresh off of military service, they have spent years in forest service or some state government roll. Not sure why that makes a difference other than that the Dept of Defense and GL is not involved in those sales.

I hate the Smell of Maple Syrup

Citizensoldier: you can't tap Pine trees:-D The only heater core I have replaced was on a cherokee, the dealer wanted 1400.00 to replace it so I thought, screw that, and dove into it myself. It took me three days to get the interior of the jeep put back together, Then I cringed the first time I...

    Prices Deleted from ads... WHY?

It is the smiley faces on the side, they are genetically programed to roll back prices all over the place:grin:

    GL wants my Deuce back

I think over reaction is a good thing, prepare for the worst, hope for the best. All our GovLiquidation horror stories might save somebody a lot of headache one day:-D and it keeps prices low;-)

    Anyone else made wood bows?

Lamination is for sissies. Roy Underhill would say cut down an Ash, season the logs in the loft, split out and shape you bow stock with a broad axe and a drawknife, steam and bend the most beautiful bows ever to days a deuce:wink:

    GL wants my Deuce back

I agree that there is nothing to be done, but wait it out, but it really sucks that several members have been refunded money lately because their EUCs went over 60 day, a few others are quickly approaching 60 days and at the very least I have tied up a few grand for the next two months and will...

    GL wants my Deuce back

No, but you do have to make the shipping arrangments and pay the shipping so they can reimburse you months and month later......

    GL wants my Deuce back

Actually it does per the user agreement: Items sold by us, which are changed to a Demil Code status of other than B or Q from Demil Codes A, B or Q, or are otherwise determined to be restricted by DRMS, must be returned by you to the nearest DRMS facility

Anybody mount a snow plow on their deuce?

That is not a bad idea, I didn't even think about using a pneumatic actuator. Might be problematic with freezing temps though.
