Hummm...Are you going up I 75?
I might have an A/C unit where WM might get it to MWMules at the MVPA. Convention in June.
Also one for Patracy which is on the way to WM place.
Again, and just in case you missed it, it is tilt for storage, and not to be confused with dump for hauling and unloading. It is not strong enough at the pivot point to take a load and dump it. Nice trailer. Congrats.
edit; Uggghhh, Recovery beat me to it. I apologize for the repetition.
I've had about 4-6 of each, and strangely enough, it would appear thus far the surge brakes on the M101A2 are far more reliable then those on the newer M1101/1102 series.
Results will vary, but I've tested on at least six of each, and owned at least 4 each of my own.
Lucky for you, unlucky for your friend. I always thought one of the greatest compliments one could receive is when a friend wanted to buy what you have. Congratulations on the nice score!
Yep. And I'll research it further to see the distribution of the lines. So I'm guessing the HH is different from the IP, and somewhere between the in tank fuel pump and the HH, air might be getting in, and when that happens, we need to build up the pressure to displace the air with fuel over...
I was wondering if you could elaborate on this one further.
Reason:
I went to look at a M35A2 w/w that I am considering buying. Everything looked fine but brake leaks around two wheels, but he said he completely went through the brakes and flushed them all out as well, then put in new DOT5...
Weird how someone sending a water buffalo to the scrap yard, that is worth more than $100 in scrap, would sell it for that outright. Congrats. You did good.
After seeing that M-37, I've decided I don't like you. :)
I'm so jealous of you M-37 guys with nice trucks I get ill.
I love it. Congrats. Having the winch on it is special. Wanna sell it???
I would PM Patracy. He has very good used tires at good prices. Also, he's probably within an hour of you in Buchannan (sp) Georgia, just above you off I-20
Check out his new bobber. He's accumulating toys!!!!
You can twist that plastic fuel line when tightening it. You need to turn both ends at the same time, so you don't turn just one end when tightening, let the compression fitting bite, then put a twist in the whole line as it is tightened. Once you get a twist in it, it can, and often will...
You're on the right track, so you don't really need any help. Just get yourself the M35A2 and you're set. Be sure to check it out first, make sure there are no leaks and the brakes are in top notch condition. Get a whistler turbo, and you can save your money for those very expensive tires later...
Dry weight is about 3700 pounds, roughtly, so if you add fuel, cargo and about 1000 pounds for the trailer, what is the hauling capacity of the M1009?
Make the call and verify with the guy the surge brakes are fully functional with no leaks. It is an absolute no-no without them. Not sure about...
Check the tire again and see if it is dry rot or paint overspray. I didn't know on a couple of mine a few weeks ago but I had Patracy the tire expert over and he informed me it was overspray cracking up.
You might get lucky. Congrats on your recovery.
I like the wheel well look the M105 gives better than the straight line of the deuce bed on a bobbed truck. I understand opinions vary, but this is the way I want to do it. I see you already have parts on order Patracy. Good luck and be sure to take pictures and share along the way.
This is one...
Dang. Don stole my words after I just spent the last 30 minutes reading all these posts.
One "fine" looking truck for sure. I love it. Fully subscribed here.
Thanks for the full history and all the work and joy you share here with fellow SS members.
This is what makes this site so fantastic...
Welcome from Middle Ga. You're in the perfect area for enjoying a bobbed MVs. Just watch out for them gators. They got one down there bigger than any I've ever seen on "Swamp people" on TV. Watching it now. Funny stuff.
Glad to have you on SS.
