O.K., re-read the thread. I do agree to let it idle for 5 minutes before you shut down. That is extremely important. I was referring to the start up cycle. I back down on my advice for anyone in a cold climate with regular oil in the sump. Sorry, but this is Texas and it's generally plain...
I personally disagree with the decals. High idle the thing to get the oil pressure up. Especially with 2, yes 2, dry upside down canister filters. This gets the filters filled faster and pressure lubes the assembly. I know there will be disagreement, but whatever, I've torn down lots of...
I just had my original tank coated with this by a very professional radiator shop here in ELP ; they did a jam up job. Red Kote is the way to go. It is an aviation tank coating. Having fun painting the exterior of the tank earlier today. The solution to get to the left part of the tank as...

number9--use the TraveLLer SAE 90 Gl-1 in your pic. Do not use the GL 5 85W-140 from what I see. You'll be fine with the Mineral oil. Secondly, all of the Plugs for your running nomenclature use a 1/2 inch drive to remove. In other words, just a raw one half inch socket drive or flex handle...
SavageSam--Having read all of the posts here, try getting specific with them (GL) as to why they want it back; perhaps you could find the specific item and gut it out of the truck and "render" it to them. IMHO you would be entitled to any funds you have put into the truck (what you got in it)...
