I don't know what the difference is between a Fram or a Wix or a purulator.
It takes me a while to accumulate miles on vehicles in my fleet so It is easier to remember to change every even thousand.
2000 miles should not be enough time for the different brands to out filter the other.
I...
I use the PH5 as well. It is the same for my small block chevy.
As for belts, I searched this a while ago myself.

Not really sure where to find fusable links like these ones, but therer are a bunch by the driver side firewall and scattered all around.
Here is an example of a good one and a burned out one. (I don't know if they always burn this much though)
RE: m1009 Electrical heck
I had similar problems, I would recommend getting a cutoff switch so you don't drain them all the time.
Before I crank, I don't get a gen 2 light, sometimes I get more lights than other times. But it works so I don't mind.
Do your lights all work? A common...
I thought about getting one of these once. They look kinda neat. Probably not as good as canvas though. They ae advertised for a heep.
Also, you could probably get canvas for a lot cheaper. $100 each.

RE: Re: Parking Lights dont work
Are you sure your fuses are all right?
I had a similar problem where one of two light fuses kept burning out.
One made the brakeights not work and the othe made the headlights not work.
It could also be a wire grounding out somewhere. Under the front...
Hey Magnus, or others, Did you figure out an easy way to remove the bolts from the spinning jack nuts?
I can reach the low ones with vise grips, but it doesn't help. I'm thinking about tack welding or maybe cutting or drilling.
Just want to make sure there is no easy trick to it.
Here's an idea for a national rally, Plot all the members coordinates on a graph and find the center of gravity.

Looks a little east heavy though. Maybe we could just call it Des Moines, Iowa.
How bout getting the army to...
wow these pumps must take a lot of stress. Good thing it didn't go through the radiator too.
I need to tighten mine up still.
I ordered mine from the dealer and they got it in the next day. I wish I took pictures, but I had about a pound of grease on each hand the whole time.
As for...
RE: Re: RE: 35
I wish there was a yard like that over here. surely there would be a less blasphemous way to get scrap metal.
I thought about what kind of trimming I needed to do, I would rather just lift it if I really wanted 35's. hmmmm.
I can turn the steering wheel upside down...
So I was wondering about bigger tires for my m1009, but I didn't want to spend $700 on new ones.
I found these wheels on craigslist for $100 and the guy said the tires were junk. Now I figured that meant the 35'' tires were bald and they would be closer to 33.5'' tall, whish is close to the...
Oh yeah, the curse continues... Every time I fix something, something else breaks.
This time, when I turned the key, half of the battery terminal vaporized. Fixed that by tightening the battery cables.
When it was warming up, I noticed a pinhole leak spraying out of the heater hose. fixed...
I just wanted to updare this.
I got it replaced without taking the pulley off. I'm sure I broke at least two laws of physics in the process.
I managed to accidentally bend part of the outer lip of the pulley a tiny bit, which allowed me to slip the rest of the bolts out. and in.
The Bracket...
I think I've been using the round ones with the bolts.
This time I'm using the one from the autozone after trying two other parts stores ones.

I even heated it up with a propane torch but still...
I've gone 1,800 miles roundtrip at 70mph + in my m1009. Before that, I had no problems the 2 month I owned it.
It's been on and off since then just electrical problems.
Also, never seen anything over 17mpg that was at 65mph for the entire tank across Nebraska. mostly 16 with...
I can get the pump out, but I am having problems separating it from the bracket.
I even thought about cutting the bolts out from behind the pulley, luckily, I couldn't find the sawzall. I figure maybe I can just get slightly shorter bolts in there with the pulley in place.
Of course, if I...
I got the bracket, It sure looks like the right one. I will put up the part number for future reference if it indeed works.
Now I am trying to figure out how to get the darn pulley off. I got a puller from the auto parts store on loan, but it didnt fit right in the hole.
