i had that done also just because it was so old and it looked like the rubber was dry. if it wobbles i was told it could break your crank shaft. better safe than sorry.

i flew to Chicago, IL took a cab to Highland Park, IL and picked up mine and drove it to port arthur, TX. yahoo map says 1124 miles, but, i made a few extra stops. no problems except a burnt headlight and that was an easy fix. if your truck is in that good of shape i would go for it.

i saw a clear cover for sale last month, however, it was just one and it was all clear (no metal cover) it would be like having no cover probably not good at night.

Welcome to the club. i love my M109a3. i bought him for a hurricane evac truck and been working on him every sense.

i just went with the white ones so i could use them any where and i already had the covers like i wanted. i am putting LED head lights on one of my M35a2's saturday morning. i liked them so much. that will be all the money i spend on LED's for a while.

i just put the LED's in and on my M109a3. my two M35a2's still have the regular bulbs and i am happy with that $$$$$. :D

they make a yellow LED's LED Miniature 24-28 Volt AC/DC T3-1/4 BA9s Base / Yellow: Light Bulbs Etc, Inc. then all you need is clear covers.
