    Working on the MKT

Just finished hosing the MKT out so I can load up for Muster. I've got a week to PMCS the deuce and the MKT before heading out next Friday (75 miles 1 way). Got all of the boxes out to load and gased up the lantern so I feel like I'm ahead of the game. Any SS'ers that have a free weekend...

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

Gulfway is actually underwritten by Travelers. Funny thing is I have Travelers for my Homeowners and Auto but my agent couldn't write the deuce through them. It's still a TX policy with the same company but the local people can't do the same arrangement.

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

You might want to go back to law school if you believe that. I can register an armored vehicle and that doesn't mean every insurance company that does business in the state has to provide a policy to cover it.

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

Did they ask you what the truck weighed? To them a 2.5 ton truck just means it can carry 5k pounds (if they even realize that). Most policies specifically exclude vehicles weighing over 10k pounds. Again, I would suggest reading the sections of your policy that I pointed out above. If you have...

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

Most of my time with Progressive was in WA (Spokane, Kent, and finally Yakima). I really didn't have much to do with the Commercial Vehicle side so can't really comment on that but there have been TOO many people on here that said they added it to their AUTO policy and I know that wouldn't be...

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

Unless you bought it online it wasn't the Company but the Independent Agent that just happens to sell their policies (along with a dozen other companies). At least they got in touch with you and refunded your money before any issue came up. I'm not defending Progressive (there's plenty of...

If you can't delete it you don't need it.

Sounds like it's a personal problem :) Just checked one of my ads and it's there. You might need to PM the Admin to see if there's something funky with your ad. Maybe it's because of a "Wanted" ad and not a "For Sale" (which needs a Premium Membership)

If you can't delete it you don't need it.

If it's YOUR ad then there is a "delete" option under Thread Tools. If you're looking at someone else's ad then it doesn't show up. EDIT: Sorry Gimp. Saw your edit after I posted.

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

That's about what mine is with them. $500k liability and full coverage. I used to have a commercial policy with a regional company here in TX but it was $75 a month for liability only.

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

It's not necessarily a "no military vehicle" issue as I doubt they'd deny a M1009 or similar but, as far as your auto policy, it's a matter of weight. There are specific exclusions in the Progressive Auto Policy for vehicles over 10k pounds. I have no idea if their commercial policy has any...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

That's the definition for standard insurance policies but "Garaging" for classic vehicle insurance means it is "Garaged in a lockable structure." Or you sometimes see the wording as "Stored in..." Again, people need to read their policy. Just because someone tells you something doesn't mean...

    Military Vehicle ?

Looks like something from a flightline or warehouse. Seriously doubt it has a "M" designation but could still be considered military.

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

The main reason I went with Gulfway was to get full coverage with no garaging restrictions. The Agreed Value of my deuce is $8k so if it's stolen, fire bombed, vandalized to the point it's totalled, or a plethora of other things, I'll get $8k (less the deductible). Of course if it's repairable...

    Unsubscribe me asap.

He signed up 3 years ago and this is his first post? Obviously hasn't been around any to see what the site and people on here are really like. Probably best for all involved if he never comes back and lives the rest of his life knowing he told us what for.

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

First and foremost to remember when dealing with an agent is that they are salespeople. They just want to make the sale and let someone else worry about whether it's right or not later. Whoever you get you policy through you need to read it. The place to see whether your vehicle is covered...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

I have Gulfway (deuce, MKT, M37) all agreed value (meaning I set the value not them) with $500k liability and comp/coll policy. No garaging requirements. $550 for all 3 vehicles for a year.

    My new mkt-85 trailer

It takes my oven about 5 min to get to 425 degrees. I accidentally melted a cookie sheet last year so know to keep an eye on it now.

    My new mkt-85 trailer

Nice score on a great looking trailer. We're getting enough MKTs on here now we should have our own forum section.

    Wehring...many thanks!

I've dealt with Justin a couple of times, as a buyer and as a seller and found him to be an outstanding individual. Glad to see my opinion confirmed by others.

    Working on the MKT

You might just want to PM him with what you need. It's surprising what he has. Is there a hole on the outside of the cabinet where the box should go? If you have the clamps for the cable underneath that would indicate the MWO was done on the trailer so they should have drilled holes and...
