Been there lots of times because it reminds me of my favorite lots down in Texas where you could find anything because they had cars and trucks all the way back to the 50's sitting there waiting for me to pick a part. I will have to have Christian go down pay the dollar and find me a door.
If...
That is the Cat 16 Speed the only real issues we had were when Soldiers tried to hot rod them and skip more than one gear without following the TM. The other issue was the airshifter would leak making it unable to shift
That is an M916 used in Engineer units to haul the dozers around. 400 Cummins and if first generation a 16 Speed Cat Air shift Tranny are you going to pick it up they are the bomb
Oh man just missed a local deal oh well we have an old civey K5 that I already robbed the drivers window for our M1009 since right after we got it the window shattered when the door was shut while the window was half way down.
I will have my son check the local glass shop any brand stores that...
I wrote up a story relating to this type of issue long ago but it was simply the return spring on the fuel delivery lever under the hood was missing.
Deuce went through the maintenance shed because of it
My new M1031 is missing the drivers window and it has a tarp over it now does anyone know of a good source for one even if it is an aftermarket glass guy I want my son to take it in and get it fixed so the winter snow and squirrels do not get in and ruin my truck with only 14K miles on it...
Thanks I am hoping one of my sons loggs on and gets a hint from this that they need to price it out before selling it off. I told him the conditions on using it are getting pictures posted here as well as filling it up with diesel.
I talked to Christian he is still going to pick the steel up and see what he can get for it. I really don't mind if he leaves it on the duece for a while if the price is gonna go up soon but I do not want it on long. Good news is my duece will be empty again and I can finally rhino line the...
I tell you what Mike you can tell them I spotted the two last trucks I bought on the banner and would not have bid on them had they not been on my favorite site. Sure they may find more for the money advertizing on a Sultan's harem page since he has so much money to spend but we are some of the...
RE: Re: M818 knocking sound?
I saw the elf there with the hammer one time that I could not sleep and went out to admire the cummins he was napping on the rear valve cover and vanished as soon as my flashlight hit him.....
Sorry I agree it is most likely the air regulator cycling
7018 I really like the way it welds I have a ton of different rod from stainless steel to hard surface and grease monkey that can weld through grime. I think welding is exotic because I can make just about anything I want to with a welder and my chop saw and plasma cutter
I bought two spaces for my duece and trailer two years ago and I think I bought two last year for my sons to go while I was in Korea. I know this is a great rally that should not be missed fly in to BWI we can pick you up if you coordinate it. Or if you are airborne drop in we can mark an LZ...
I have welded lots of frames over the years and most of the do not weld sticker were on big rigs I worked on as a truck mechanic. The heat treatment is the very reason on steel ones and I have seen a lot of alumimum frame trucks that had them too for obvious reasons. I know what I do when I...
I grew up near Somanauk and Sheridan but the death tax took my family farm and I have not been back but to visit my aunt in Serena. I would think about coming out when I retire for an event just stay away from Chicago
