I am a bit far away to keep track of this (9,000miles) but they recovered my M1031 and M109 for me a few weeks ago with no major issues. I want to help them out since they both opted out of college and are working men.
Welcome home and if you are like me part of the time is spent figuring out what is in what box you sent home....
I know this site is great we all get support and it takes all kinds I just thank God that we are more on the Grace and Mercy side than the Judgement side like so many are on these...
I Just want to know if anyone has advise for Christian and Noah as they will be offloading my duece to the M127 and then using it to haul scrap metal to the recycle yard. How thick do you think they can stack rebar in the bed before it gets too heavy?
I am conditioning the use on being...
It is only 950 miles from my place in Maryland and if they get anymore anti 2nd ammendment there I may move down and stay down. Especially since I will be retired if I can make it this year. I think I may put big tires on the M1031 and bring it. Or if I am brave the new M109 but problem is I...
Wow that is an impressive collection. It sure looks like southern France too. Is is possible to get a couple shots of the Jeep that shares my birth year 1954? And perhaps the International When I retire I may have to HOP over and visit My wife is Italian with the name Monti.
I was pushing a bobtail M915 up I 81 near Stroutsburg when doing about 85 MPH in the hammer lane the steering axle blew the right front tire. It happened as the truck was passing a small compact car with two women and two kids in it and the split ring blasted the car door and she swerved into...
I have one just like that in my back yard The dolly trailer rig pulled OK on the flats but on hills it got down to 3rd gear let me tell you I95 South is not a place to be that slow.
Man if Maryland gets any more anti 2nd Ammendment I think I need to move my clan to Georgia. Woo Hoo these pictures are the hoot. Thanks for posting all of them and hope all get home in good shape.
I love what the TOW can do. We used to shoot Dragons and they would sputter down range as we watched go toward it's target then the TOW would shoot and the target would explode before the deafening roar of the launch was gone. So cool only thing cooler is watching a night fire of Hellfire's...
Well you certainly had me rockin in my computer chair on that video. Pretty neet seeing the duece party hardy all night long. Any of those Jeep men looking for an upgrade ask you where to get one?
I agree with our Alaskan brother the vans only have very minimal floor bracing since the entire body is a box beam. Some of the Army vehicles have stronger frames but take a look at an M127 versus an M146 and you will see deeper beams and stronger substructure on the M127.
RE: Saturday afternoon Trail Ride
Great Pictures of wonderful trucks and friends I sure look forward to being able to attend more of these in the future. Keep the pictures coming for those of us not able to participate and hope you all get home safe and sound.
Awesome Kenny tell the folks down there we are envious. I hope all is safe and travels are executed in safe and good order. Thanks for the picts and please post some more of that great Georgia clay.
RE: Anyone had any positive outcome from GL after a complain
The thing you have going for you in legal terms is the contract says as is and you have proof from the sale photos that the truck got pilfered and damaged after you entered into the contract. Meaning that they should deliver it to...
That looks awesome and if that was the one with the wheel bearing issue how hard was that to fix it looked like a simple re-assemble job to me. I live in Maryland and if I was home I would have been bidding against you I just don't think my sons would have been able to recover it for me.
Wow that sounds great and the trip up from there was not too bad only 1,200 miles. I think a fly in would be in order with all the miles I have in the bank. If I am back from Korea I would visit.
